Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere isn't any air conditioning. Due to this fact, I wouldn't book again and wouldn't recommend anyone to stay. Honestly, I was surprised considering what we paid. There was no breeze the week we stayed in Kimolos, so it was suffocating inside the flat during the night.
Amazing location. Lovely finish. Cozy, but you have everything you need for a week if you are not planning on cooking much. Super clean.

United KingdomThere is no air-conditioning but the place is made of stone and is also usually quite windy rendering it sufficiently cool. There is a ceiling fan but not in the bedroom - on the one day when there was absolutely no wind it became a bit too warm. I have been told by the owner that a second fan is to be installed there in the following days, so that should be just fine. The only other thing that needs addressing is the bedroom window. It is on the eastern wall and even though small, the room gets very bright early in the morning. If one has an issue with illumination during sleep they wouldn't sleep past 6am. It needs to get a curtain or blinds.
It is brand new and it's obvious that the owner did put effort to make the best out of the place during the renovation. It was also clean and there is a small roof terrace that has indeed fantastic view.

United StatesThe bedrooms were extremely small with no privacy, One room was outside the bathroom. For the cost of the room The mattresses were very cheap and not comfortable and same with the linen. The place was extremely hot and one of the rooms didn't even have a fan. After we requested one they brought us a small fan. There was a mold smell coming out the fireplace. The bathroom was very problematic as there is no dedicated shower space which means when you shower the whole room becomes a big mess.

The reservation was made in April through the booking application. In general there is little information about Kimolos in terms of access accommodation therefore we relied on the photos and the excellent communication we had with the Owner. The place is in a very central spot with special access as in the whole Village. The house is clearly traditional, spotlessly clean with all the listed amenities and equipment. The bed is perfect for resting and the balcony has everything you need for a night's rest. I recommend it 100% PS maybe some improvement in the reception with better signage and air conditioning
