It wasn't until my second day there that I became aware of the fact that the restaurant was temporarily closed. With the location being 1.6km away from the village and without a car, the need to walk in the blistering heat to go and eat was quite a trial. My room had one of those hand-held shower heads, which I hate. In order to boil the kettle, I had to unplug the fridge.

My room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the pool area. It was quiet, the perfect place to rest and relax.

I didn't like that I chose that hotel for the pool (for the windy days), and the wheelchair couldn't reach this space. I also couldn't go with the wheelchair to the breakfast area.

We visited Ikaria for the first time. It was a dream trip. Kerame is one of the few accessible hotels on the island. But not all facilities are accessible... I did like the view, near the center, I did like the staff and the owner, they were polite, even though we had an argument.

The hotel is beautiful and just like the pictures online. The clean rooms and also balconies are very spacious. The pool area is stunning and this, as well as the restaurant, which both overlook the sea, have breathtaking views. I couldn’t believe it was this lovely for the price we paid, very impressive. The hotel staff (mainly Thalia) were very helpful and friendly. They even helped us to get to a local festival one day, definitely going the extra mile! My husband works in customer service and I’m in L&D for operations and we were both very pleased with the service from this hotel. It’s a short walk to and from Evdilos with amazing views and we enjoyed the exercise as we work mostly from home now. We will definitely be returning to this fabulous and idilic place.

We got a room on the ground floor that was right in front of the main street, so it was quite noisy. It would be much better if we had a room on the second floor. The parking space is quite limited so you need to part on the street.

The room was quite large and perfectly clean. It had all the amenities we needed. The location of the hotel is very comfortable, close to all the interesting places in the north part of the island. The restaurant in the windmill area is exceptional and worth to try.

Nothing to complain about

The hospitality afforded us during our stay was the best I received in all of the Greek Islands of which there have been plenty. The owner of this establishment is to be congratulated on putting together a team of talented professionals interested in service. Anna Maria was exemplary in her insights about the island and Greek culture, a talent indeed. I thoroughly recommend this place. Very special.

Ideally you need a car, it was about 20 minutes walk into Evdilos.

The rooms where nicely decorated and the beds where really comfy. The outdoor pool area was gorgeous with amazing views and the food at the restaurant was fab.

Close location to city centre. Can walk in 25 mins. Local beach was beautiful but not overly developed. The Pool bar was the highlight. The lifeguard/Pool Bar attendant was absolutely amazing. Best person in the entire hotel. Thank you for all your help!!!!

Not much equipment for self catering. Or dealing with powerful mosquitoes. Staff were very helpful and found us a corkscrew and a plug in mosquito repellent when we asked. Ideally these would be in rooms as standard, along with salad bowl, sharp knife and spatula etc.
