Edward was the best. He helped us in ways I can’t even think about. We missed our cruise and we printed out an entire schedule for us. He even called our cruise line. Helped us pick the right spots for sunsets and night timing. The rooms are super clean and cute. Right near the main bus stop of entire Santorini. So super easy and pocket friendly commute

The view from the terrace is outstanding. The staff are extremely warm, friendly and attentive. Couldn’t do enough for us. The property is pristine clean, close to the bus station and a largish supermarket just around the corner. A number of restaurants also a short walk. Had to go to airport quite early and we were provided with a breakfast box the evening before which was a much appreciated gesture.

This hotel deserves 50 stars, from location, to views, to breakfast, to cleanliness, to comfort, to the hosts… it is perfection. We stayed for our wedding and for a few days of honeymoon and felt so happy here. Waking up everyday with unbelievable views and magnificent breakfast right in your room, and making use of the hot tub anytime we liked, it was heaven on earth.

We couldn’t fault anything.

The view of our apartment was out of this world beautiful. The team were absolutely amazing not only accommodating our stay with first class customer service, they also were personal to our individual stay and always asked what we were doing, how are day had been and if they can make reservations for us at any restaurant on the island or call cabs on our behalf. Edward was a stand out team member so genuine and driven by delivering the best experience.

The room was a bit cozy, although it was fine for one person. There was plenty of storage but it did not have a desk or table which would have been helpful.

Kamares Apartments exceeded my expectations with its charm and breathtaking views. Plus the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Santorini. (Just be prepared to get your steps in walking up and down the steep hill to the front entrance.) It was within walking distance to the tourist areas yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. And breakfast on the balcony was amazing!

Absolutely everything, the view, the hot tub, the staff, the room. Everything about our stay was beyond our expectations and couldn’t have asked for more. The staff are wonderful, particularly Maria and Edward who are exceptional and will do anything to ensure your stay is better than you could imagine. The property is very clean and tidy, and the view over the caldera is breathtaking. You are outside of the main busy part of Fira, meaning you don’t have thousands of cruise goers on your doorstep, but still close enough to the main precinct to walk the couple of mins to go to restaurants and bars.

Nothing other than not staying for more than three days

First, the photos do not do this place justice. It is absolutely glorious. It is close (<100 metres) to all the action and shopping via a near flat walk. But none of the mob go near the Kamares (the crowds stop at the main viewing are near the Atlantis hotel and large church). So it's very peaceful and quiet. We had an executive suite. Sat in our private hot tub to watch the glorious sunsets. Had a full view of sunset and the caldera. Suite is not overlooked by anyone. Very private! The room is large and very well appointed - beautiful. Morning breakfast delivered to our verandah. What a way to start the day overlooking the caldera The staff were all excellent - Maria and Edward at the desk. Very friendly, helpful and provided everything we needed. And Ben who brought breakfast and took care of everything around the place. We are definitely going back! This is the full on fira sunset (and all day) experience.

Our only suggestions for improvement would be to invest in some soft pillows... ours were hard... but this of course is quite subjective; also, provide a clothes rack and clothespins for outdoor drying.

This property is heaven! Not only is the staff incredibly helpful and friendly -- truly over and above -- but the suite itself is luxurious, located right in the middle of the action, with a to-die-for view of the caldera. Imagine sipping your morning coffee (breakfast is included!) overlooking the turquoise expanse of Aegean sea, or sinking into the hot tub after a full day of touring... like I said, it's heaven.

The only improvement we could possibly think of is to have nespresso machines in the room (we told Edward this and he helped us order coffee deliveries!!) that’s just because we are coffee lovers and no fault of Kamares!

We arrived as guests, 7 nights later we left as friends. Kamares apartments is an absolute must for your stay in Santorini. We arrived to a very happy and helpful Edward, when seeing the apartments and our room we were blown away. The private hot tub, veranda and apartment was stunning and spotlessly clean. The first few evenings we were blessed with clear sunsets so decided to watch them from the hot tub with a few drinks.. Edward helped us order local food for delivery to eat as well. Every morning you are greeted by Ben, he is positively infectious, Ben brought us our breakfast order every morning to our veranda at any time we wanted, kept our hot tub clean and ready for us at any time. We had so many good chats with him and there was never a day that went by he didn’t ask what we were up to. Maria is the morning receptionist, she is brilliant as well, ask Maria for all the top local places to eat away from the bustle. Edward has good recommendations but be prepared to pay for them 😂😂 (he likes the Boujie side of life!) The cleaners are incredible we popped out for a run one morning by the time we got back the apartment had been done and to such a high standard. Kamares is a magical breathtaking place that blew us away but without a doubt Maria, Edward, Ben and the team make it a home away from home. They care so much about their guests and it shows in every interaction with them. In terms of Santorini, use the local buses to get around at 2euro a trip you can explore the whole island including your airport transfers every hour. The Fira bus station is just a couple of minutes from the accommodation. Listen to all the guys recommendations of things to do and you will have the best time. We would rate this a million stars if we could and would one million percent stay again!

Very minor but when we wanted to book a boat or car the staff were a little pushing about their contacts (which was on the very pricey end) instead of us finding our own online.

The location was perfect! The views were outstanding right outside our room. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Our unit did not have a shower, but a jet tub only. Also a few hooks for towels would have been nice.

Location is exceptional, at the end of town so no street noise. View of caldera is perfect. Staff is as good as any high end resort. Parking available which is unusual. A very good value. Exceptionally clean.

There was only a couple of annoying things that were minor and that was there was very few hooks to hang towels and shelves to place your toiletries on other than this everything else was perfect 😉

Santorini itself was breathtaking! The views from our spa and balcony were spectacular! No need to find a restaurant with a view. You can order in and enjoy your surroundings at your leisure!
