Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomShower head could not be put up high easily in our room as it didn’t seem to fit properly, we managed it but then it was spraying too close to the wall really. Clothes dryer on the balcony needed another screw in it. So a couple of minor maintenance issues however these didn’t really detract from our stay. Breakfast was just one choice which changed daily for the guests of Kayla suites. This was not an issue for us as we are not fussy over food as we like most things but for some this could be an issue.
Nicely situated just off the main beachfront so the lovely pool area was private unlike many of the beachfront hotel pools! Pool sun beds really comfy.The hotel has really comfy big beds too. Rooms were big and clean. We liked the fact it was a small hotel only 12 rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served 30 second walk away at a nearby beachfront restaurant. Breakfasts were tasty and in 3 courses! We loved our stay and would happily book again if returning to Kamari in the future.

United KingdomCleaners a little early moving beds arounds / emptying bins .. we stayed in room 1 - the songbird Chorus at 7am although beautiful was very noisy and lasts 20 minutes. Not much of a view from room 1 and overlooked from all sides so little privacy

United KingdomBreakfast was across the road in a lovely beach front restaurant. The staff were lovely but the breakfast very random. We embraced it, but it you have dietary requirements it could be tricky.
Gorgeous new boutique hotel. Clean, spacious,modern and very relaxing. Set on the beachfront- perfect! Sevvas was a wonderful asset to the hotel, so welcoming and knowledgeable.

This is a fantastic hotel situated within an excellent location by the beach, many shops and restaurants. The room was extremely comfortable and the cleaners are a true credit to the hotel, as they kept it spotless on a daily basis, with fresh towels provided, that included pool towels. Dimitris and his dad, not sure how to spell his name are absolutely amazing. They are both very welcoming and friendly and provided us with some excellent recommendations for both excursions and restaurants. We look forward to a return visit. You will not be disappointed when choosing this hotel. Dimitris and his dad will make sure of that. Thank you. Great holiday.

United KingdomThere really wasn’t much to fault, to be fair. We had breakfast at the selected restaurant a few times, but it's worth noting that the menu is set and changes daily. While this adds variety, it does limit your ability to choose what you fancy without an additional cost. However, with so many restaurants nearby, it's easy to find something that suits your taste. The beds were lovely and comfortable, though I would have preferred larger pillows. I found them a bit too small for my liking, but they were fine overall.
This hotel is an absolutely fantastic place to stay. With only 12 rooms, it offers a small and intimate atmosphere, making it a lovely, quiet retreat. Our room opened onto the pool, which was perfect for waking up and stepping straight out to the sun loungers. The room was impeccably clean and well stocked, and the cleaners were delightful, always finding new and creative ways to style the towels such as hearts, waves, shells—a thoughtful touch. The pool bar was excellent, with a plentiful selection of drinks, and the service was exceptional. You would be hard-pressed to find a warmer and friendlier bar host. The hotel manager was also outstanding; he welcomed us and every guest upon arrival, assisted with our luggage, and was always eager to help with any requests. He provided valuable advice on places to visit around the island, including the best times to avoid heavy tourist traffic. As a team, the hotel staff were perfect and did everything possible to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We love absolutely everything about the property. It was clean, tidy, so beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. Cleaners did an amazing job everyday and we were never without anything we needed. We were well located and the staff were just incredible especially Dom and his father. We even met Savvas the owner who was lovely too! Great people! We didn’t want to leave.

We were overall very pleased with Kayla Suites . Staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful . Location was good . Swimming pool and facilities were good . Slightly disappointed with breakfast and the fact we had to go to another location. One of the reasons for booking here was the fact they advertised breakfast would be served at room veranda. Otherwise would highly recommend.

CroatiaKalya Suites is something wonderful💙 we stayed for 5 nights (family), everything is commendable, from the reception that immediately arranged the transfer from/to the airport, the guy at the bar, cleanliness, wonderful breakfast. The location is excellent, and you can easily walk to a beautiful beach in 3-4 minutes. The market is across the street. Our vacation was fantastic.
