Our initial room was directly next to the pool which meant we had limited privacy, however we asked the staff if we could move room and this was facilitated very fast!

Everyone is aware of the beautiful views of blue waters, the caldera and the sunsets in Santorini. We made a three day /night trip and this place certainly does not disappoint!   We stayed at the Ira hotel in Firostefani just next to Fira. The place is spotless with multiple places to sit and enjoy the view. It was perfect as you stay away from the crowds of Fira yet a nice walk along the various hotels and restaurants and the endless views on your way to Fira.  Our stay at the Ira hotel was just what we needed. A private relaxing time with as much pampering as you need, but never over the top. We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the entire bay and the town. Better still, it gave us an unobstructed full view of the sunsets and the town.  The stay included a full breakfast each morning and was a perfect spread from Greek yogurt, fresh fruit like strawberries and kiwi, honey and homemade jam to toast and cereal (and all the other things a hot breakfast come with like bacon eggs, and sautéed mushrooms and veggies etc)  However, the Ira Hotel is a special place with clean rooms, and a nice spa and ample public lounge space with views for miles. Most importantly the service here is what makes this boutique hotel and spa stand out. From the Hotel Manager Konstantina, to the bell boy and the restaurant staff, they were always looking to ensure we were well taken care of and having a good time.  Konstantina took the time on our arrival to welcome us with recommendations on what to do, and arranged for a car for us and gave us the most important must do sites on the island and beyond with tours. It went a long way to making our stay on Santorini a relaxing and memorable one.  Thank you to Konstantina and all her staff that make this hotel a special one even on an already special island. The owners should be very proud of their staff that definitely make this place a "must stay at"!

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking! It almost felt unreal. The staff was also incredibly attentive and helpful (especially Chris and John) with booking our activities during our stay and with booking transportation around the island.

The shower at the swimming pool should be replaced for a new one to look good!

You can seat there and have breakfast in the morning, enjoying the stunning panorama. + Spacious and cleaned room, with comfortable beds (our room #122 with a terrace table and chairs) + Good location on Firostefani, halway between Fira (20 mins walk) and Imerovigli (15 mins walk). + Great breakfast with greek specialities, fruits, pastries, etc.. and even pasta or rice. Take your plate to the lounge to start your day with the sun rays on your face and admiring the view! + Friendly and helpful staff including Chris & John at the reception + We recommend to walk to Skaros RockRemains, a centuries-old castle on a steep path with views of the caldera. > From the hotel to the airport: the shuttle is 25€ > From the airport to Fira Bus station, take the local bus 1,60€ (15 mins) > Walk to the hotel for 20 mins uphill, if you don't have a heavy suitcase.

The breakfast was decent, particularly for me as a breakfast person, however, it could use some variety after seeing other hotels in Greece on our trip. There were some mornings my fiance didn't eat it because she wasn't a fan. Some hotels also offered a free airport/ port transfer on our trip, this venue does not and it was our most expensive hotel on our trip.

The staff and service was top notch. Views from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking.

The location of the hotel and view from the room, pool, public areas were amazing! Right on the edge of the caldera. Lots of great nearby restaurants. Really helpful staff - with really good recommendations.

Staff was extremely nice. Everything was perfectly clean. Breakfast was fabulous. The apartments are in Firostefani (10 min of walk from Fira - main location), this is an extremely good choice if you like silence. The view from the pool is one of the better I've seen on the island (and I went through the whole island during my stay).

The property is very conveniently located between Imerovigli and Fira. A quick walk for 10 mins will take you to the Fira, which is the hub for all the activities like cable car and boating. It is also very near to a bus stop from where you can take a bus to Oia, if you are not having a private car of your own. The staff is very friendly. Special mention for Chris from the front desk. He is extremely helpful and polite.

The lack of some services due to COVId restrictions

The location is superb and the exclusive suite with own jacuzzi has the best views of the Caldera and maximum privacy no one can see you
