The absolute best place to stay in Potos! We absolutely loved our time at Icon, the staff were beyond amazing, especially Dimitra and Thomas! The food and drinks were incredible - highly highly recommend!

As someone who has many accommodation experiences, from very luxurious hotels to boutique hotels, I must say that this hotel is on a completely different level. It provides the highest service quality. Every detail in the hotel has been thought and designed with great care. Everything is so sophisticated, so magnificent... From the color tone of the employees' clothes to the stones of the pool, from beach umbrellas to coffee tables and the lighting used in the restaurant, it is as if they are dancing in magnificent harmony and create a fascinating atmosphere. Dimitra at the reception is one of those rare people who makes the world a better place with her smiling face, good heart and energy. Alexandre and Victoria, who work in the restaurant and bar, work with great care, enthusiasm and happiness. We really loved them all. I am grateful to all of them for making our holiday unforgettable. The food is great. Breakfast is quite rich. The chef does an amazing job. Room cleaning is superb. It was the cleanest hotel I have experienced. I think the housekeeping personnel are the best. Everyone is very hardworking and very elegant in this hotel. We are so sad to be leaving and we’ll miss everyone we have met here.

It’s one of the cleaniest hotel’s I have ever stayed. From the very beginning the staff was very helpfull. Maria, Thomas and all the other people working in the hotel are very kind and the service quality is far beyond expections from such a small hotel. The hotel is very compact, the rooms are very spacious and very well designed though. The breakfast is served in your room which I have experienced for the first time but it was very confortable and the berakfast menu was very satisfying. The beach is very organized and the beach bar food menu is very good. Having dinner at the hotel is a good option. The sunset view is amazing from the beach bar. I have stayed many hotels from five stars to boutique ones, but this one is really like an unexpected gem on the island. It felt like home. Thanks for everything. Will definetely come back.

Some of the rules of the hotel were not suitable for us, being a little excessive. For example the schedule of the private beach (access allowed only until 20:00) - we were not able to enjoy entirely the sunset from there. Another matter was that we were not allowed (at sight, at least) to consume drinks from outside the location, even if we were customers of the hotel (the reason we received was related to some invoice control of the local authorities, apparently - totally a joke of the administrator, from our point of view). Another fact that we really didn't appreciated was that the administrator of the hotel applied the rule "private beach only for customers of the hotel" as he pleased. Based on the looks of your face, your nationality or hour of the day, he allowed access to the private beach also to people that were not clients of the hotel, for an amount of 5 - 10 eur / pair of sunbeds - depending on your negociațion skills. This is not fair for us as customers that paid 200 eur/night a room in order to benefit of premium services, including on the beach — where we wish to be surrounded also by "premium" people that, like us, paid this amount of money to not be forced to hear noise from loud and not very well educated people, because the administration of the location considered a big gain another 5-10.eur from non-clients, that were only disturbing the others with their behavior. The idea is that being a highly rated location, having a room rate quite expensive, promoted as a location with quality/ premium services, me as a customer that paid for those services, I would prefer to be surrounded by quality people as well, that paid for the same services (as I did) and appreciates a good service/ ambient in all areas, because otherwise the cost is not really justified.

Very good location, in the center of Potos, right on the beach, that has also a private beach (including sunbeds & umbrellas for clients). Delicious variety of food for breakfast (served in the room). Staff from reception was nice and helpful. Rooms were very confortabile & clean. Delicious cocktails at the bar. The staff from the reception was very nice, and knowing that my boyfriend celebrated his birthday, the next morning, at the breakfast, they surprised him with a mini cake made of american pancakes. :) We really appreciated that!

This year all over Thassos flies and bees were more in numbers than usual so this was a minor setback.

As always spent wonderful days at Icon Suites. I strongly suggest Icon Suites as a holiday retreat.

About most of the things, I did not like, the hotel cannot do anything. We had a baby stroller and our room was on the second floor. There is no elevator, so we had to carry it. The beach right in front of the hotel is sandy, however, the sea bottom is stony and difficult to walk on. There is a car parking in front of the hotel on which you can park and offload your car, however, the hotel parking itself is on the side of the road (a 1-minute walk).

There are many things I liked about this hotel. The location is nice, at the end of Potos beach and thus not too crowded. You can see the sunset from both the bar and the beach. The staff is attending and friendly and pays attention to all of the customers' requests. The service at the restaurant, reception, and beach has been impeccable. The rooms were perfectly clean, equipped with a small kitchen and a large terrace. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the breakfast is served right in the room. The hotel is a bit pricy compared to others in the area but in my opinion, it offers value for money.

Icon Suites is a perfect little place that offers truly everything for a pleasant and relaxing vacation. On the outskirts of the village, it sits right on a beautiful beach, but also offers a sparkling clean pool, surrounded by the small garden filled with plants, aromatic herbs and flowers. Bright modern rooms, designer furniture, decorations and amenities, remarkable cleanliness everywhere (the rooms, the public areas, the pool), an excellent breakfast, featuring local products and served in the room, a well stocked pool bar, a professional, friendly and helpful staff, a fresh feeling overall - everything comes together to create a luxurious yet cozy and peaceful atmosphere. We strongly recommend the Chef’s cuisine, which is lovingly prepared and definitely much better than what one gets at most of the tourist oriented but not very original taverns nearby. Everything in the hotel and grounds shows a perfect combination of design, functionality and easy comfort. Everything, to the last detail, is well thought of and speaks to the owner’s effort, love and passion to create a private little paradise –with absolute success!
