I have no hesitation recommending Ianthe.

The location, staff and facilities of this hotel were fantastic. It is a small family run hotel just outside the busy area of Oia, which is perfect for avoiding the crowds. The welcome from staff was wonderful. The pool, although not huge, was a lot bigger than other hotels who say they have a pool when it's really just a plunge pool. We never had a problem getting a sun lounger when we wanted one. The breakfast was very nice- it was great being able to choose exactly what we wanted from the menu so as to avoid any waste. We had a small issue with a blocked drain in the bathroom but this was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Some people would prefer a buffet breakfast, but the options at Ianthe were good enough for us.

Ianthe is located right at the beginning of the stunning Oia main thoroughfare. Staff were incredibly welcoming and a pleasure to speak to. Pool facilities were good and our room was lucky enough to be facing the pool with a small outdoor courtyard where breakfast was served. Another point to mention is that breakfast is similar to a set menu served at your room, unlike a buffet.

Located on the top of the hill with sea view on both sides. Best place to see the famous Oia sunset instead of getting squeezed in the crowd in the village. Virginia was very pleasant and helpful. And she surprised us with a delicious birthday cake for my wife, which was so sweet of her. I went to Oia for a memorable birthday for my wife and Virginia made my day. Thank you.

I wish there was a means to heat up leftover food in the rooms. Microwave or toaster oven would have been perfect. A little more shade on the rooftop to escape the sun would be great as well.

I really enjoyed the staff and the location is perfect. A couple minute walk to Oia and shopping. The staff was very very accomodating from providing food and ideas for adventures. Highly recommend you stay here.

The apartment was amazing. The views from the front balcony and out by the pool were breathtaking. The rooms were always cleaned and the pool area was great. The location was also brilliant and 2 minutes out from oia center.

The room I paid a little extra for and saw the pictures online wasn’t the one that was given on the day. There was shards of glass and lots of hair mixed with the stones under the bed. Once our room was cleaned, second time it was partially cleaned, we were there 4 nights, the bathroom bin smelled really bad by day 3 because it wasn’t taken out. We wasn’t a fan of the concrete headboard as our heads kept hitting it when trying to lay back.

The location of it, pool and the staff were very friendly. Minor inconveniences here and there but l loved the stay overall.

Absolutely stunning! Views from either side of the property, don’t even need to leave the property to see the famous Santorini sunsets! Perfect location, short walk to the shops and restaurants of Oia. The pool is also a perfect addition. The staff are awesome as well, happy to help organise transfers and give recommendations. Highly recommend!

Some areas of the apartment need renovation like the kitchen cabinets, room dressers etc but not a big deal with everything else being so wonderful!

The customer service is exceptional, the staff (Anna, Virginia, Marousa) are extremely friendly , flexible and helpful. The apartments are cute and cosy with great sea views. The breakfast is delicious and served in your rooms which we loved! It is less than 15 minutes walk to the main church square and close to many restaurants. We decided to drive around the island last minute and Marousa’s arranged a rental car in couple hours. The staff is very caring, sweet and genuine !!

Immaculate apartments, attentive, helpful Staff. Location perfect for Oia and the sunset. A large plunge pool outside our room, with plenty of sun loungers for all guests. All rooms equipped with cutlery as well as kettle, coffee maker & bottle opener! Beautiful viewing point up the stairs, views over looking Thirassa island, Thira etc. breakfast is brought to your room, at a time requested by you, and is perfect start to your day.

Everything about this property is amazing! The location is exceptional! The facilities are beautiful! And we can’t say enough great things about the staff! They coordinated transportation to and from the ferry port for us, provided us with food and the best wine we ever had! Provided great restaurant recommendations and provided us with a packed breakfast for our early morning ferry! Thank you to Anna & Virginia for everything! Ianthe’s location is fabulous, just up the street from the walking path in Oia but far enough away from the noise. It’s serene, immaculately clean, and comfortable. We slept great, and woke to fresh, delicious breakfast each day. The hosts were helpful and friendly and the pool was a great reprieve from the heat. Would absolutely recommend anyone stay here!

The location is great 👍 👌, the apartment is clean, has a great view, and has a lovely swimming pool. Breakfast is available and is very nice. We just spent 4 days at Ianthe and it’s been fantastic! The apartments are located in a very exclusive position in Oia! There’s an astonishing view of caldera and you can easily reach the center of Oia in 5 minutes by walking! There’s also a reserved parking for clients (and it’s included in the price, no additional money) so it’s very easy to reach Ianthe by car! The room was very clean (every day new towels and cleanings) and every morning the staff brings you the breakfast so that you can enjoy it while admiring the fantastic view of caldera! Marousa and Virgina provided us a very professional and valuable service, helping us in everything and suggesting us places to visit and restaurant to eat! Everything was perfect!

Great position, a little haven … away from the business of Santorini but within stepping distance of beautiful Oia. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay, everything was perfect. Virginia was amazing, super friendly and full of useful information. A large tasty breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the sea was wonderful. Thank you! :)
