The only issue was the shower. If you didn’t shut the door in just the right spot, the water leaked out and soaked the floor up to the mini fridge. It happened twice and the water dried very fast, but having a drain outside of the shower door would help the problem.

Everything! It was gorgeous, well maintained, and the staff was incredible. Faye was AMAZING and so helpful! Our stay in Oia would not have been the same without her.

Everything was great.

The location is one of dreams. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they left us a bottle of wine in the room which was a very welcome surprise. Our ferry was cancelled on the day and the staff allowed us to stay in the property for an extra few hours to allow us to rearrange our travels.

Nothing its absolutely brilliant!

Perfect location in Oia at the castle end. Greeted at the arranged drop off point by the hosts Dimitri and Faye who helped take our bags to the Caldera Nest Studio. The location is perfect as you can literally close the gate on the crowds and head into your own private oasis out of sight of everyone. the balcony is absolutely unbelievable, large with a private hot tub, table and chairs and an uninterrupted view out over the Caldera, Santorini and the castle ruins. The Nest is a cute and rustic well appointed cave house perfect for a couple and has all the amenities you could need. Faye is available for anything you may need, answered any questions we had promptly and checking out is just as easy with help to get your bags back to the transfer location.

There was a time when electricity was down for some of the sockets, but other than that, it was great!

Great location! Super near where the sunset viewing is. Quite a walk but a very enjoyable walk to the many restaurants. Love that they also gave a gift for us (a salad set with olive oil, olives and dried herbs) and a bottle of wine! So sweet! They also gave a map of the area and some great restaurant suggestions. The room size was good for two people. My husband and I enjoyed the warm outdoor tub.

I’ve traveled many times. And Hector Cave is one of the best places I’ve stayed in. It’s a unique experience it’s self. It’s spacious for 3 . The decor was amazing. The staff are amazing. There was no fault I could make of this property.

This is a wonderful location for a visit to OIa. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Hectors Cave house was perfect for our family of 5. I was worried it would be too small as we are all extremely tall, but there was ample space for all of us. The outside area afforded an amazing view down to the ocean and the plunge pool allowed us to cool off when needed. The Cave House is well equipped with everything you need.

If I had to find something, the A/C unit can be loud at night. The power went out one night, but this was due to a rainstorm and was back on within 10 minutes. The issue with email seemed to be through booking.com and was on my end with my internet provider. What’s app is the best way to communicate!

This property is gorgeous! Well worth the money. Very private with plenty of room. We had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, beautiful room, soaker tub, rain shower and hot tub. It is right on the cliff with excellent views. It is just like the pictures. The staff are incredibly accommodating, we had a mishap with our emails not coming through to them and they were very understanding and even got us checked in early.

The location, view, hotel room, balcony, and staff were all absolutely amazing! The staff was very communicative before and throughout the entire stay. They accommodated us dropping our bags off early and early check in as best they could. They showed us to the room and gave us great tips for things to do and restaurants around the island. The room had a full bed and smaller couches which served as beds. Two lovely showers full with shampoo, conditioner, soaps, face washes, and more! The balcony had a small pool, room temperature, which was lovely. View was amazing! Couldn't see sunset from the room end of September but was just a short walk away. This location is central to everything you need in Oia! Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

Hector cave house was absolutely amazing and the view from the balcony is one of the best views in santorini. we were greeted by the hosts right where we got dropped by our taxi. The service was incredible they helped us with our bags and showed us where everything was in town as we walked to the room. They really thought of everything we could need and the room is perfectly situated right in the middle of oia. 10 out 10 would stay again!

I don't know where to start. The view from the terrace was stunning. The location was so central, yet there was great privacy. Dana, Dimitris and Anastasia were so helpful. The inside of the property was way bigger than we had expected and the little touches made it so much more special. The place so so amazing that we actually got engaged right on the terrace! I can't say enough good things about this place and this review doesn't do it justice. All I can say is, I can't recommend this place enough and would love to come back here again!

A calm oasis away from the crazy streets of Santorini. The view is exceptional all day long. perfectly private if you want to chill on the terrace, and perfectly central if you want to be part of the mayhem. Anastasia, Dana and Dimitris are a text away for anything you need.
