Everything was fantastic. I cannot say enough good about the staff at Hotel Grotto and its hotel facility.

We were met at the Naxos airport by Dimitris from Hotel Grotto. He and all other staff members were very kind to us during our stay. On our first morning at Hotel Grotto we were greeted in their restaurant by a breakfast spread that was beyond belief! There was something delicious placed on this large table that would satisfy anyone. The location is just a 5-minute walk to the town center of Naxos where there are many restaurants and shops as well as transportation. Hotel Grotto's roof deck affords beautiful views all day, but especially at sunset.

The staff was fabulous! The location was beautiful! We had an issue with losing all of our money and travel documents (including copies of credit cards and passports) as we mistakenly left it on a Sea Bus in Mykonos. Connie made countless phone calls and got the manager of the property involved in order to retrieve them. It was such a relief to us that they took so much concern in our problem and were able to contact the right people to get it sent to the hotel, all the while they sent us on our way to enjoy our excursions and sightseeing. The breakfasts were amazing - I have never had such yummy food at breakfast. Again I could never be more grateful for what they did to help us. This is the best place to stay on Naxos.

Family run property and they made us feel welcome like a family. Excellent location. 5 mins walk from the ferry port. They provide free pick up from ferry port and airport which is nice. You can book a pool and hot spa free to charge everyday for 30 mins. Main bus stop is also 5 mins walk away which connects you to all the beaches and charming villages in Naxos. Overall highly recommended.

The room and bathroom were pretty tight quarters. The view and balcony made up for it (Room 47 or 48) and I would request this room again. Some people might by more bothered by the small size.

We were treated extremely well by the staff; true Greek hospitality. From free transportation from/to port upon arrival and departure to the helpfulness of the staff at reception to the hospitality of the staff at the bar/restaurant, all was excellent. We spent time on our balcony every eventing looking at the view of the sea and Portara- truly wonderful. We stayed here four nights and just loved it.

The room was on the small side, but just fine for a short stay.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, including setting up an early morning transfer to the airport. The views from the breakfast room and patio over the town harbor were spectacular. And, the spa was much nicer than it appeared in photos, with strong jets in the pool and a great sauna, as well.

The best place we stayed during our trip in Greece! All the staffs are so friendly and the hotel is very clean. Great view. Great location. The highlight is their breakfast. Super yummy! Home made pies and sweets, all of them are very delicious! I miss my everyday big bowl of their yogurt 🥹

We had an ocean view that was spectacular. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast was outstanding, lots of fresh home baked goods daily. Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room downstairs. Very easy 10 minute walk to downtown. I would recommend this hotel if your ever in Naxos.

If I have to come up with something (hard to do) I would say a couple of the dishes we had for our evening meal were less than excellent. Not BAD, but just not great. The service and the Greek salad made up for it!

Hotel Grotta is a small hotel, perfect location with views of Chora and Portara. Very clean, excellent breakfast each morning. But, the staff are some of the nicest, most helpful,people we’ve ever encountered!

Poppi prepared delicious homemade Greek traditional breakfast feasts to start each morning, Connie attended to our every need for our room and reservations, and Kostas outlined the perfect plan to maximize our adventures while on Naxos! Could not have been more perfect!

An outstanding stay. The hotel is well located close to Naxos town, with a fine view from our (sea view) room. The breakfast is excellent, with an unusual selction of pies and well as eggs, fruit and pastries. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
