The property’s location was perfect. Just a half block from Old Town located right on the main city street yet you didn’t hear all of the noise of the city and felt very private. Everything was clean and the apartment had everything we could need. The patio was large and comfortable and felt very private.

We alerted our host regarding an issue with the bathroom shower.

We met Despoina who gave us a review of the apartment and keys. The location is awesome. The gathering spaces were perfect in the apartment & on the large balcony. Parking is included. We felt like we were in the middle of it all and yet, safe and relaxed.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

My family and I (4 people total) visited in late April for 5 nights. The cleanliness and design of the apartment was amazing, it had the same feeling as a 5-star hotel. The location was perfect for food, shopping, and anything else we needed. Stefanos and Despoina were so warm, welcoming, and very responsive to any questions and requests we had. Overall, we had an amazing vacation here and highly recommend to anyone else considering visiting Chania!

There were quite a few stairs leading up to apartment.

Apartment in fantastic location. Bus station taxis and supermarkets all close by .Also bars restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Apartment tastefully decorated and spotless and host Stefanos considerate and helpful .

The terrace was exceptional and quiet. Communication with Stefanos was as good as expected and he was always available and very helpful. All facilities in the apartment were as good as we were hoping for.

The were two things we did not like: 1) we were told we could not use the washing machine. We were there for 5 days, and knew our next stop did not have one, so we had to get clothes washed elsewhere. This was an unexpected inconvenience because Booking.com lists it as having a washing machine. 2) The dishwasher has a label on it not to use. This was inconvenient, but did not bother us as much as the washing machine. Overall, we were still happy with the appartment.

The apartment was in excellent condition, and you could tell it was recently remodeled. The ceilings are high, and porch was a great plus. The location was where you want to be in Chania, just a very short walk and you are in the middle all the walkable only areas of the City, but you can take a care to the front door. The other plus is the owner has a reserved parking spot for occupants about 400 meters up the street; an easy walk. There was an incident because of heavy rain, and the owner worked quickly to resolve; we don't blame them for it and appreciated how quickly they were on the repair. We enjoyed this more than I expected.

Grande Casa is a beautifully furnished apartment that was extremely comfortable. It has a wonderful terrace and although perfectly located close to the centre it is very quiet.

We just had the best experience staying at Grande Casa. Exceptional flat that is beautifully decorated with a terrace with a view for enjoying the evenings. It has modern amenities with AC in every room of the flat which is uncommon. Location is perfect distance to the Harbor and still quiet from the noise of the street. Having spent 3 weeks travelling across in Greece, it was by far the best accommodations we stayed in. Stefanos had great recommendations for things to do, places to eat. By far the best part of the experience was Stefanos and his team who went above and beyond during our stay and after we checked out of the flat. We had a day of travel chaos and I don’t know where we would be without Stefanos. We left something valuable in the flat after checking out, and they arranged for someone to let us in immediately with a few minutes notice. Stefanos and his co-host Desponia checked back and made sure we got everything. Then we left a bag at the airport and Stefanos can e to our rescue and arranged a courier to retrieve it. I’ve never met such a hospitable, helpful owner who treats his guests more like friends. He is just amazing! I will be back to Chania and will only stay here. Best place ever!

Nothing really. Would have been nice to have an extra key but this is minor.

The host was very responsive to any questions and kept in touch frequently to be able to meet us on time, and laid out welcome snacks and a brochure with excellent suggestions for places to eat. The Grande Casa apartment was incredibly spacious and with two full bathrooms, a large patio, and fully stocked kitchen. Loved the airy/light decor - everything was comfortable. The location is also very convenient - on a main strip close to groceries and fast food but also just 5 mins walk down to the harbour in the old town! Definitely recommend this apartment!

We all enjoyed our weeks holiday.

Light, airy, comfortable and quiet apartment in the centre of Chania. The large private terrace to the rear is an amazing feature. Very easy walk to the bustling Venetian harbour with all its facilities, which was great for us and our adult sons, we were provided with two sets of keys. The host organised taxi transfers from the airport and then onto our next destination which was very helpful, the taxi can park right outside the front door. There was a good supply of all toiletries and welcome goodies.

This property is amazing!!! right in the middle of town, with private garage. The house has everything you need and more. it feels like home. The host Mr. Stefanos was unbelievable, very polite and helpful with any questions (above and beyond). In addition to this, he has booklets with very detailed information in the house about what to do, visit, and where to eat. They also welcomed you with some food, and other little treats. Outstanding. A++++++

Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Stefanos and Despina couldn't do enough for us, lovely hosts who were very accommodating and informative. Family of 4 with plenty of room, one of the couches turned into a sofa bed which was perfect. Fully furnished, had extra towels & blankets etc. and a lovely balcony to relax on before heading out in the centre of chania which was right outside our front door. Would stay here again! There was nothing we disliked but it is best to be aware that there is a flight of about 30 stairs to reach the apartment from the street. The shower room is located on the terrace area just outside of the French doors which we had not expected - But it is very nicely done and it is extremely useful to have a second shower and toilet when 4 people need to get ready at about the same time of day

The apartment is very well furnished and comfortable.It is spacious and stylish and every effort has been made to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. The location just on the edge of Chania Old Town and harbour is excellent. The terrace is a great place to sit, relax and sunbathe. The host Stefanos is very easy to contact and our arrival and departure were very efficient.

the staircase was a little steep. especially after Samaria gorge. but we didn’t go up and down too many times in a day so wasn’t an issue with us. only when we arrived and left with heavy luggage, but if you go slowly and carefully it’s not an issue. also the bedroom with two single beds had no outside window, only one facing the stairs. for me this was actually a plus as it meant when we slept it was dark dark. just the way I like it. and we only spent time in the bedroom for sleeping as the balcony was excellent and massive.

Stef has a beautiful place. absolutely gorgeous. he was so patient with my queries and arranged taxis etc. he genuinely wanted to look after us. there was nice welcome gift, small food when we arrived and when we left. very nice touch. the place is spotless. so close to supermarket, pharmacy, harbour and bars and restaurant. the balcony is immaculate. one thing I cannot emphasise enough is how cool Stef is and looking after guests. he was always enquiring but never in an intrusive manner. I am not the most outgoing person, and normally don’t like talking to people. but he was the perfect balance. enquiring gently if all is fine. 10/10. also it is two minutes down the road (walking) from a main travel agency kyriakos (sorry bad spelling) so it was easy to book tours, and the pick up point for tours was two minutes from our apartment. superb.

Everything went so well, so I cant find any complaints.

Grande Casa 1926, what a pearl in heart of the Chania. Nicely renovated old house keeps inside everythig you need having a great holiday. Apartment with two bedroom, big livingroom, fully equipped kitchen with brand new machines, two bathroom and spacious terrace. Absolutely perfect. Best of the best is the location. Just a few steps from shops and restaurants in the Old Town of Chania. It is in a busy street, but inside you didn't hear any noise. And the hostess Stefanos and Despina were abslotely nice and fantastic people. Friendly and warm welcoming to apartment with welcoming gift. That is well caring and feel you that you are warmly welcome. If you are looking a great place to stay for your vacation, Grande Casa 1926 is waiting for you.
