Check out is at 11am and not 12am like it says on the paper in the room. For some reason though, at 10:45, the house keeper came in and started cleaning even though I was packing my bags. She stayed the whole time moving my things so she can clean. It wasn’t even 11am yet.

Great location away from the crowd, but not too far from restaurants. The apartment felt cozy and big for a solo traveler.

Was a 10 min walk from the activity hub. Small bathrooms. There was no reservation system for the hot bath. It was located on the roof of an adjacent building and you’ll have to wait for your turn because it’s being used most of the times.

it’s at the end of a very steep slope , the shower was really small and water kept getting everywhere , it’s about a 15 min walk to the town centre . no buses on route , hot tub was in another building .

Ambience of the studio room could be better, when we entered the room, there were bunch of flies flying around and room decors were filled with Ash. Initially, we didn’t had a pleasant feel, later on the cleaning staff ensured the room is tidy and cleaned well.

Near to Fira center, with 10 min walk. we can reach to Fira bus station. staff are super friendly and helpful in booking Airport/port transfers. Breakfast buffet is delicious. Room service is pretty nice

More than half of the hotel was under construction, the location was not what we expected there was nowhere to park, the outside areas were not taken care of and the room smelled like it had been closed for months.

The bed was really comfy, the aircondion worked perfectly, and the decoration of the room was really nice.

There is building works going on, the whole upper floor is a shell and is being renovated so if you wanted a rest during the day it was very noisy.. But we were out and about so it wasnt an issue.

The only downside of this hotel is the stairs down from street level to reception and up to guest rooms, which should not be any problems for most guests. For this particular visit, I had a small accident before coming to Santorini and found it a bit of a challenge to carry my luggage up and down. Luckily, the gentleman at the reception helped me with the luggage when we left - thank you!

We only wanted a nice clean room to stay for one night in transit and Galatia Villas more than met our expectations. The communication was smooth and the arrangement for our late check-in (at almost midnight) was efficient and cute! There was a clear instruction and welcoming message for us to easily find our room. Our room was clean and cosy on first floor with lovely sea view. The hotel is in a quiet part of the town but only a short stroll to the town centre and all attractions.

Nothing against the property just how Santorini is but it was located at the bottom of quite a steep hill but there is steps and hand rail to get down.

In terms of improvement and only I would suggest better soundproof as sometimes noise from other rooms can be disturbing. A/C for heating never a good option for myself, but it worked well.

Clean room, super helpful staff, good communication and fast responding on the platform, they answered all of my questions, nice and quiet location close to fira with parking. Superb value for money.

The shower floods a bit.

The staff are accommodating, welcoming and friendly. They gave us excellent instructions for where to park our rental car when we messaged them via booking.com. Upon arrival, there was someone at reception and they greeted us with a friendly smile and were happy to show us a map of Fira, how to get around, recommendations on the island and offered to help us with anything whilst we were staying with them. We were shown the pool area which was lovely and peaceful and then we were shown to our room. The room was as described in the booking and we were comfortable for the few nights we were there. We particularly liked the location, being just a 4-5 minute walk into central Fira without having to be right in the middle of all the busy crowds and streets.

the bathroom is very small and the shower even smaller, the water pressure is fine but the hair dryer is very weak.

the bed was comfortable and not as small as we expected, the little balcony was nice, the fridge was appreciated and the staff were very nice, both the receptionist and the cleaning lady who not just cleaned our room and changed our towels but also unexpectedly took the time to pick up our stuff that was messy and pretty much everywhere and stored it and organised it nicely, we didn’t expect it but are very grateful, it made packing up for leaving much easier and faster. there’s not only a nice pool but also a jacuzzi from where you can see the sea (not the caldera side, the island is surprisingly small) and some cute houses. it’s clearly not in the centre and doesn’t have caldera view but it’s very convenient anyway as the bus stop is. I think 15min away, the centre maybe a 10min walk and the area feels safe. there’s a mini market like 3min from it with a very nice old lady and delicious baklava and kataifi (also yoghurts and other products like that are a bit cheaper than closer to the centre, but there aren’t many things). the day we checked-out they stored our luggage there and let us take a shower when we came back from a tour we took (we booked it directly through the hotel, it was very easy and we enjoyed it).

Dont really like the steep slope leading to the hotel due to my bad knees.

Exactly like in the pictures. Dated and very clean. There were horrible noises from patrons directly above me making me scared but at my request, my room was changed instantaneously. Thanks to the housemaids and the Manager.
