We understand the actually difficult situation in over the world, but for the paid price we imagined more conforts. We had an accessible room, I don't like accessible bathrooms, as the matter of facts that it would be possible to specify it on Booking, if we had known that, we wouldn't have booked this room.

Family run by a really warm and welcoming family. Homemade jams were lovely and the eggs really fresh. Great location too. Bonus point for the hotel are the mosquito nets - great idea.

Breakfast was by ordering, and they had eggs everyday, couldn't eat much, but it was good food even if it wasn't diverse . It's a family run business, so no employees , also they have a bug problem lots of huge black bugs coming inside the room, its a great place but needs to be refurnished .

Everyone at Fourtounis is very friendly, responsive and hospitable. They gave us a few useful suggestions of the places worth seeing on the island. Rooms are clean, breakfast is well served and yammy. A cosy place overall, loved staying here.

The staff was friendly and very kind. We felt like part of a big family in hotel. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of choice what to eat and served on the table every morning. Owners are really very friendly and helpful if you need anything. The room was clean (every day), we had fresh towels every day. Everything was as we expected. Free wifi, parking, bus station, beach and excellent restaurant with greek food only few meters on foot away. There is also a lot of rent a car/scooter/bike just a few meters away. I was expecting a buffet kind of breakfast where you can take the ammount you need. Unfortunately the breakfast was served in small portions which was often not enough. The coffee was very good.

I enjoyed an overall peacefull Stay at this hotel. The owners were very welcoming and nice. And the hotel is very clean and is just a 5 min walk from the beach.

Very nice family operated hotel. It was clean and very close to the beach (short walk). The breakfast was enough and big parking space right behind. You could see the sea from the balcony and hear the waves at night and there are mosquito nets, which is a plus since you can sleep with the windows open

Thanks to the family Fourtounis our stay was wonderful. The most I liked orange jam and quince jam. All in all, breakfast was exceptional. Room were cleaned every day except Sunday (the rest day). I would recommend this place!

Facilities need some refreshments and due to the common for Kos restriction concerning the use of toilet, a simple addition of a bidette would be good solution in very small bathrooms. This year occasional night traffic noise from the main road appeared to be more disturbing as Kefalos is again getting more popular after the COVID break. To get to the next level, better maintenance of the surrounding garden is necessary, as well as buffet breakfast might be more convenient both for guests and for the staff.

This was the second year in a row so more or less we knew what to expect. They maintain high cleaning standards. Quiet family hotel, even when (this year) fully booked. Very nice view toward the harbour, and a very good location in the middle of the town. The AC and WiFi work very well. No swimming pool, no playground so little chance to be disturbed by wicked and noisy children. As for improvements and upgrades, this year we have been served real coffee at the breakfast.

This is a 2-star, family-run hotel which is great value for money. The family members are very friendly and helpful. As far as 2-star hotels are concerned, it is more than adequate. We had a balcony, air conditioning, and a mosquito net over the door. The rooms are cleaned every day apart from Sunday. Towels and sheets were changed regularly too. The breakfast was perfect for us - cereal, tea/coffee, freshly baked bread, butter, homemade jams, water melon, Greek yogurt and honey plus eggs if you wanted them. We would definitely choose to stay here again and would like to extend our thanks to the family at the Fourtounis Hotel.

Overall, our room is very clean but if you were more fussy you could find some hair in the toilet and stains on the sheets. Something minor, but we were advised not to bring towels to the beach and we had to share our own towel at the beach.

The location of hotel was excellent as we were close to the beach and many restaurants were quite close by. The breakfast was basic but tasty. We found the room to be cosy and the property looks way better than the pictures shown in the ads on booking.com or on Google. Given that the hotel is rather inexpensive, they certainly exceeded our expectations and wewould stay in the Fourtounis hotel after if we visit Kefalos again.

The staff in incredible, they are very nice and ready to help you everything you need. The rooms are clean with big beds and the breakfast is good. I recommend it.
