Everything was thought through.

It felt like visiting family back home in the best way possible. Welcoming staff, clean well decorated rooms, with amazing verandas and breathtaking rooftop views. Breakfast under the grape vines in the courtyard will be a favorite memory for our group. Exceptional location with the most hospitable hosts. Truly a gem. :)

Firalia, Casa in Rock Suites is such a beautiful hotel! Completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the old Captains Office and this room was so beautiful! Really spacious, clean and every amenity you’d want. It also has a private garden and seating area with private access to the hotel’s main rooftop terrace which has spectacular views of Santorini. The hotel team were exceptional, so helpful, so pleasant and so friendly. The location of the hotel is so central, literally 1 minute walk from all the bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.

We had a wonderful stay at Filalia Casa in Rock Suites. Yiorgos and his staff catered to our every need and were very helpful. The delicious breakfast was served on time, the room cleaned and fresh towels provided every day. Our suite used to be the Captains office and is exactly as the photos show. The property has its own terrace where you can sit and relax and enjoy uninterrupted views of the famous Santorini sunset.

Location of hotel- it is at bottom of Fira so there are many many steps to go up and down when leaving hotel room.

Room was nice and spacious. Staff was super accommodating and let us check in early since room was available. View from shared patio was nice.

We were made to feel very welcome, the view from the terrace was lovely, close to the best bits of town.

but the bathroom from one of the upstairs single room is not good, because the water drift out and make the floor is wet when you take shower.

the position is very good, the landlord is very kindly and hospitality, he helped with us booking the ship to see the sunset in Aegean Sea and helped to carry luggage when we arrived and when we leave. From the top of the house, you can see the very beautiful view and sunset. We booked 4 rooms, they are very good. Thank you very much.

Very steep steps on the cliff to get to and from the property which my parents struggled with. Not for people with mobility issues.

Unique stay on the Fira cliff itself. We had a cave suite for 4 people which was beautiful! The staff is ever so lovely and helpful. The highlight of the property is the terraces which give you a private terrace to view the famous Fira sunset.

There is nothing I could fault with either the property or our stay. Everything we required needed or wanted was taken care of. Only wish we had stayed longer.

Our stay, the property, our welcome, George and everyone, the sunset, daytime and night views- everything was beyond amazing. The terraces… the sunset, the Bianconero. The beds were comfortable and the cave suite spacious and well equipped. A very special place to which I would love to and plan to return.

Definitely is a perfect 10 place to stay in Santorini, the location is incredible, the view is fantastic, the service is outstanding. We love the room when we just check-in, and they also did a good job on cleaning. It's so wonderful to have breakfast on the rooftop. Thank you so much, if we ever come back to Santorini again, will definitely stay here again.

The room was wonderful. It was spacious and clean. The breakfast was served daily to our front door. The staff were terrific and always ready to assist. The hotel was roughly half way down from the main strip but, most accommodations are. We didn’t mind the walk up and down the steps. There are amazing staff that help carry the luggage to and from the room. Honestly the best service.

Beautifully decorated boutique hotel. Each room is different and very comfortable. Breakfast is served to the rooms which is a nice change when you are traveling. Property has many balconies from which to view the caldera and the sunsets. Great location in the heart of Fira. And finally amazing staff to ensure a comfortable stay!

Understandably so - since it’s built into the cliff, the walk down and up to all of the commercial activity (stores, restaurants etc) can be strenuous.

With it being only Firalia’s 2nd season open, everything felt super new and clean on the property. We had 7 individuals in our group and the staff orchestrated us to have adjacent rooms, and we even shared a courtyard - everything felt super private for our family and was lovely. Also huge thanks to George and Ioanna for their assistance in coordinating transfers to and from the property, dinner reservations, and whatever we needed while we were on the island. Stellar hosts.

Nothing, this place is perfect.

Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the best thing of this place (among many other good things). Breakfast options are extensive and both filling and tasty. Views from the sitting area on the roof are wonderful with a clear view of the bay and sea. Close proximity to restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and stayed cool with well functioning A/C. And a clean bathroom.

Be aware that it is a steep walk down from the main town level to the hotel. If you’ve got heavier luggage, it’s going to be a very strenuous journey. In all fairness this isn’t a situation unique to this hotel but rather a general issue that all hotels and restaurants that are further down the cliff from the top level will share. This isn’t something we were aware of when we booked and frankly I would make the same decision again, but it’s something to be aware of

Breakfast was good, served with elegance and grace. We had all three rooms in the front of the hotel so it was like a private space with the courtyard in front. Jo and George were excellent hosts, helped us with reservations at restaurants and events. They took pains to make us feel welcome and comfortable without imposing on us. The hotel is a short walk down from the main strip of Fira so you feel right in the middle of everything yet have privacy and quiet.

The property was perfect and felt like home. George and Jo were beyond awesome. They were so helpful, warm and friendly. We felt like we were staying with family. The entire staff always had a smile on their faces and made us feel right at home. The outdoor spaces were awesome and perfect for breakfast or wine during sunset. The location was so central to everything and just a few minutes walk to all the restaurants and shops. The view was definitely a 10 — we can’t wait to come back.
