Beautiful location along the cliff of the Caldera. There are a lot of steps to get to the property, which is the only negative, but expected for the location. The views were unmatched and perfect for the Santorini sunset. And they helped with luggage and even did our laundry while we were there! Joanna was super helpful and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks! We would for sure return!

We love every moment there. The house is super clean, has a rich history to tell, a great location, a pretty yard where you can have your breakfast under the 80 yo vine tree every morning, and a super friendly and thoughtful host team. This would be our address if we come back to Santorini.

We loved our stay. The accommodation was amazing. It had been renovated so beautifully. The staff were incredible. They made us feel very welcome. We also loved the area as close to everything. Would highly recommend.

We like our room at the other courtyard, as it is away from the other 4 suites, thus giving us more privacy. George and Ioanna are so friendly and easy to approach. Location is perfect and lots of cafe/restaurants/shops within short walks. Expect to go up and down stairs but the view that you get from this property compensate that. Just make sure you are in good shape when you visit Santorini.

This quaint hotel has 6 rooms, but felt like a private home. We rarely saw the other guests, enjoyed our breakfast each morning and experienced the sunsets from the terrace on multiple occasions. George and Ioanna were very kind and helpful with meeting needs. We stayed in the Casa Junior Suite which overlooked the path where the donkeys pass each morning and evening. Their bells ringing as they passed added to the magical experience of staying in Santorini!

Very friendly welcome, helpful owners, spacious and well decorated family room, very confortable beds, excellent breakfast served in a beautiful garden! Steps from the main street however quiet and relax. Amazing view of the sunset and the caldera from the different balconies. I strongly recommend.

Incredible. Incredible. Incredible. My partner and I stayed at Firalia for 4 nights in October. Of all the places we stayed over our 6 week European holiday, this was by far our favourite. George and Kostis are so friendly and made our stay so comfortable. When I told them I was vegan they sourced special vegan Greek yogurt for my breakfasts and gave us a list of the best vegan and vegan catering restaurants on the island. Our room was spectacular and the views every night from the terrace were incredible. We drank wine most nights as the sun set and felt so privileged that we could enjoy the view whenever we wanted to. We cannot recommend staying here enough.

We loved our stay at Firalia, Casa in Rock Suites. The location was perfect. The room was beautiful. The breakfast delivered to our room everyday was timely and delicious. George and Kostis were so friendly and the perfect hosts. They were extremely helpful with anything we needed. They gave great suggestions for restaurants and excursions. We enjoyed our chats with George every night and Kostis came to our rescue when we left our passports in our room after we had left to go to another island. Our favorite part of the day was sitting on the terrace, drinking champagne and watching the sunset. I would highly recommend!!

New, beautifully renovated, charming house, with everything you could ask for. Our room was large, very nicely furnished and quiet. Lack of pool meant nothing to us. George and Konsti couldn’t have been more welcoming, solicitous and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast on one of the two decks, both with wonderful caldera (volcano) views. One orders breakfast the night before, with a nice range of choices.

I'm sorry to say that the two single beds were not the most comfortable, but it was manageable. The bed in the main suite was great!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and responded positively to every request. Breakfast was the best we had on our 3 week stay in Greece. Great design elements, very tasteful.

Only good things to say

Amazing location with great views across the Aegean Sea and the Volcano. Amazing to watch the sunsets every evening away from the crowds. This Ship Captains house has been renovated to a very high standard.

Cramped for 4 people. The upstairs bed did not have room for suitcases. The bathroom was also very small for 4 people. It would probably be best to remove the twin beds and just market the room for 2 people. Or make room for suitcases upstairs (I saw a door to an area that was not accessible but maybe suitcases could go in there?? Just a thought).

We loved the courtyard, the staff and the location. However, the rooms were a bit cramped with our suitcases (4 large). A family of four was a bit crowded with just one bath but we made it work. And besides, the staff made up for it all. They were ALL so sweet and accommodating. The breakfast was a very nice touch. Thank you!
