You have to select the precise time that you want to have breakfast, almost like making a reservation at a restaurant, so there is no flexibility if you want to sleep in or if you wake up early and want to eat earlier. You also have to select what you want to eat, you are asked to check off your breakfast selections each day, although there are enough options, it does not leave room for any flexibility if you wake up craving something else. We could not really use our balcony as there was construction on both sides of the building, so not too pretty to look at.

The location was optimal, steps from the old town square with restaurants and shops all around. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The room was very clean and fully equipped with a Nespresso machine and tea kettle, with a selection of teas and coffee ... also wine and spirits were available for purchase. It was surprisingly outfitted with large closets with enough room to also put a large suitcase. We had the choice of having breakfast on the veranda or in the room - we chose the veranda on the 1st day, but then opted to have it brought to our room on subsequent days - there was a small bistro table and 2 chairs in the room, as well as a small table and 2 chairs on the balcony. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every day.

The way breakfast organised should be reviewed considering the price and standard of facilities. Although there was a list of options, I believe that there should have been a couple of fixed breakfast options to choose from. for example; Mediterranean, American breakfast. The balcony as a breakfast area needed to be an organised, obvious, dining space- looked a bit ‘adhoc’.

The room was really good in a central location, close to the central square of Nafplio. Despite of the event that the hotel was centrally located, the room was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay in the city of Nafplio.

Can’t think of anything, really!

The hotel experience is like staying at your vocation home, not feeling so much the hustle of busy hotels with huge people traffic. The location is at the square which makes it feel even more like staying at your vacation property in town. We also got a small gift at the end and stuff approaching their guests for a friendly talk every time we met making us feel amongst friends. Excellent stay, good memories!
