Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Belgium- amazing location in a lush valley - ideal for resting, hiking, breathing away from it all. - the restaurant - not expensive and excellent Cretan food cooked with fresh product. Excellent wine too! -the swimming pool with breathtaking view on the cliffs - the massages by MaryKelly - she is really an excellent therapist (I indulged myself with three different ones and they were all amazing !).

Denmark- additional days in the spa area for adults only costs extra - our bed was right under the roof and the aircondition didn't have an effect here. so it was difficult to fall asleep because it was too hot.
great location, which is in the mountains and with good hiking trails and caves nearby. The views from the pools and the restaurant are breathtaking. We could see voltures from our balcony. The breakfast is wonderful and with local food only, as well as is the menu in the evening. The pool is great, again, with a wonderful view over the mountains. We preferred the adult spa area which has 5 pools with great views. The only downside is that you only get one day for free in the adult area, for any additional day you have to pay 15 euro per person per day. Which I am willing to pay, to get away from all the kids in the bigger pool area. We were travelling as a couple and you have to be aware of the fact that this is a very family friendly accomodation, so a lot of kids in the restaurant and the pool. But again- you can avoid the kiddos by staying at the adult only area ;) which is super nice.

MaltaThe views are amazing. The planned activities were delivered with a personal touch by the daughter in law and son of the owners. I took one of the best cooking classes I've ever taken. The pool is beautiful. The property could have taken advantage of patrons and under delivered with the restaurant (as it's easier just to stay on the property) but dinner was delicious, with quality ingredients, and great value - and adorable atmosphere. I went to sleep every night dreaming of breakfast. The owners are making additional improvements but will not add rooms only more services. The adults only area is peaceful and a great addition.

NetherlandsTo the beach is a 40 minute ride. Its is really breaking out with two kids, but worth it for a day. Another thing to think about is to change the music for breakfast now and then. It was every morning the same playlist. Also, the music on the music night was ok but if you stay longer you see the same artist again and it wasn’t really giving a feeling.. if you know what I mean. It wasn’t somehow touching even though I love practically all kinds of music.
Beautiful location! In the middle of nature, clean house/appartment, friendly staff. We enjoyed staying here a lot with two little childeren (1 and 4 years old). At Enagron there was a beautiful swimmingpool. It wasn’t busy there even though we were there at high season. From the pool there is a beautiful view over the mountains. We even saw vultures and eagles. At the reception you can book cooking classes, a botanical walk and more. Definitely worth it! The spa was amazing! They just build new whirlpools with amazing views over the kliffs (only for adults) and the massages and treatments where even better (thank you Marikelly!). I’m difficult with massages because I like it to be firm, but she was doing great! We weren’t sure if this was a great place at first (photo’s do not do right to the beautiful surroundings), but they definitely topped every expectation!

IrelandWould be great if the reception staff could remind the guests when checking in about the tranquillity of the place and certain expectations re noise levels- while most guests were very respectful to the fact that people come there to relax in nature based environment, there were several loud families who didn't adhere to pool policies, spoiling the experience for everyone else.. Would be also great to have more daily activities for kids (like cookery/pottery/ local art classes etc) as it is hard to entertain them with pool only, if staying longer. If the restaurant could offer a shared dinner table experience (like it is done after cooking class), it would be a great opportunity for guests to connect with each other and would enhance the experience of cretan dining.
What a wonderful experience staying in this family run hotel, truly the highlight of our last 3 holidays in Crete, which we definitely will come back to again! Everything from beautiful Cretan mountains, spacious and comfortable accommodation, restaurant with an amazing food made by local cooks, stunning views from the swimming pool and spa area and wonderful activities that the hotel offers ( we participated in the botanical walk, farm walk and mezes cooking class -highly recommend - all worth 10 stars! Its tranquillity, an amazing connection with surrounding nature and the owners hospitality make it a very unique place.

GreeceI've ordered a room service. There was no service to bring foods to the each guest room. We had to pick it up by ourself from restaurant was a little trouble as it's quite heavy if we ordered a lot.
We're very pleased with this hotel especially with Ms Maria same as last year also restaurant staffs. There is a new spa staff named George is absolutely great therapist, for me is he is a 5 star hotel therapist. This hotel is very peaceful and relaxing place and we really want to go back again ! Amazing location, perfect place to relax! All staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool area is stunning, as are the hydrotherapy pool/spa area - so peaceful. Booked a massage, which was excellent. Activities are available but no pressure to do (wish we'd done more but too busy relaxing!). Rooms were spotless - traditional Cretan style but with all the facilities you need - great shower! We arrived at midnight and were made to feel so welcome - a lovely welcome plate of food for us in our time on arrival. Food was amazing! Lots of choice for breakfast and great choice of menu for lunch/dinner. So much so we never left the whole week - just enjoyed the experience of Enagron! Will definitely return!

United KingdomWe wanted to escape the crowds and experience rural Crete, and Enargron gave us this and more, it really exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect and our three day stay wasn’t long enough - the warm welcome, the amazing pool, the views, the wildlife, the stunning location…and the delicious, fresh and varied food served on the most beautiful terrace. Our rooms were large, each with a balcony and amazing mountain views. Enargron is a wonderfully characterful, authentic and stylish place in a stunning location and surrounded by nature, a perfect place to relax – we highly recommend a visit!

Wonderful facilities, especially the amazing pool and the hydro spa area. Completely off the beaten track. The real Greek experience in terms of location and authenticity. I wasn’t well for a few days with a bad cold and the staff brought meals to our room and were so kind. The restaurant was fantastic serving up delicious inexpensive food which was made with such passion and care. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, home made jams, cheeses, bread, etc all absolutely delightful. The setting is incredible, such stunning views and so relaxing.

The location was fantastic, although getting there was a little challenging. It is a remote mountainous area and the roads are tortuous and very narrow. The very scenic pool was a welcome respite, so was the massage.

DenmarkThe bed was comptable, but very quirky when lying down and turning in it. A little disturbing for the sleep during the night. Think it was maybe only our bed as the others were fine.
Super cozy and cute “village” in the middle of the mountains. Pictures online does not justice how lovely Enagron is. Staff is so friendly and very helpful! Regretting not booking more days here instead on our trip around Crete.

LithuaniaThe only confusing thing was information about pools zone for adults, which I was informed about in the welcome message, but actually it was not open yet and staff seamed confused when I was asking them about it
Enagron is a perfect place for people looking for a calm place in the nature to rest, swim in the pool, read a book, observe birds and join an activity or two 😊 I've had the pleasure to participate in mezze cooking workshop, as well as going on a farm tour to brush donkeys, which I've enjoyed a lot! the infinity pool is quite big, and deep, with a pool bar next to it 😊

DenmarkThe cleaning can be improved as the ladies only fix the beds and take out trash. But as I am allergic to dust, I had some severe allergy reaction.
Enagron was a peaceful retreat for my family. It's very quiet and beautiful and the activities they offer are enough to keep families busy, specially if you have small children. The room was everything you need.. there is no luxury and you should not expect it but everything is comfortable and you don't need to go out to do anything. The staff is also very kind and helpful. We also loved to have a small kitchen in the room and being able to bring breakfast to the room was really nice as well!

The hotel was in a lovely location, staff were excellent and the room, pool and everything else was fantastic! The cooking class was great fun and very informative. The restaurant was excellent, using home grown and local produce. We were delayed by one night due to problems with our flight and they even refunded us for one night without us asking. Couldn’t have asked for more, I will definitely return!

LithuaniaThe hotel is unique, it is a combination of rural tourism, historical Crete and lavish hotel advantages. Rooms very well equipped and spacious, had 2 balconies, and style vintage – like historical Crete, we liked that a lot, also included everyday room service. Despite the hotel having many apartments, it is cozy place, and astonishing calmness at night! The pool is very clean and with fascinating infinity view to valley, by the pool is bar offering drinks/snacks by it. Really enjoyed resting by it. Hotel’s restaurant is offering astonishing breakfast with plenty of choices, lunch, dinner is serving Cretan local cuisine, there is also music evenings. So we had no need to look for other places to eat! Hotel from our side earned separate gratitude and fascination for hotels offered entertainment and activities: we tried free bikes riding in mountains, free excursion to their own farm with cows, donkeys, sheep, goats, we had opportunity to stroke them, also tried to milk a goat 😊 Our daughter even had a ride with donkey! Perfect place for adults, and for families with children indeed. As we stayed only for 3 nights, so not all activities were tried regretfully 😊 Personnel at reception and restaurant was very attentive, helpful, fast to assist and we felt surrounded with sincerest hospitality while being here. The best place to feel Crete! Sincerest recommendations!

FranceNothing negative, just a few suggestions ! Perhaps some more inside entertainment/ activities could be interesting especially when it is very hot. Not a lot of activities for teens but they loved the nature. It would be nice to have some more local food products at the store.
The village is beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed 4 days and wished we had stayed more. Pool view is breathtaking. Restaurant was great quality, variety and good price, we took every dinner there and good snacks by the pool. Best meals during our stay in Crete. Binoculars provided at reception were very useful. Unfortunately it was too hot to do any of the activities organized by the village but they seemed nice. Appartement was very pretty and a good size for 2 adults and 2 teens. I was worried about the roads to access the village but it was fine. Personnel was very nice and spoke several languages. Good massage with George. Mixed population of tourists so a nice change from the beach hotels. Nice to hear people speaking Greek !
