Amazing view, the staff is polite and make your stay perfect. The room space was great for 2, the internet connection was fast and again, the view is just amazing. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Santorini.

Many steps!

Beautiful cave-type rooms atop the cliff. Incredible view of the caldera, our own private hot tub and breakfast on the terrace each morning. Johanna and Christian made the stay even better. They were very helpful.

Air con didn't seem to work in room and no real storage for clothes (apart from a clothes rail) which was OK for us as we were only there 3 days but could be a problem for people staying longer.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this amazing hotel. We had a room with caldera views and it was just magical to watch the sunsets from the privacy of our balcony. The location on the outskirts of Imerovigli was perfect and the staff Joanna and Christtian particularly couldn't do more to help make our stay memorable. Loved every minute and would definitely recommend. So glad we stayed in Imerovigli and not Fora and Oia which are both lovely resorts but overrun by too many tourists. It was always a relief to get back to the slower place of life after a day out visiting the other places.

The staff are super friendly and willing to assist. Position is one of the best in Imerovigli with cler views of Caldera and the town of Oia.

Recommendations: 1. Bed was too firm, husband had backache and I had shoulder ache after 3 nights of stay 2. Would recommend the hotel provide complimentary bottled water since the island water are not drinkable and not to be used even to brush teeth 3. Would highly recommend to put a non slip mat in the shower to prevent guests from falling

Ilioperato was a fabulous place to enjoy Santorini. Imerovigli is a lovely, quiet village with killer caldera views, a few shops and restaurants and it is quite well located to access the rest of the island. Be aware though that the public buses don’t stop here regularly and you need to change at Fira bus station to get anywhere. This didn’t bother us as we are active people and we were happy to walk the 40 minutes to Fira to get the bus. It is a challenging walk and Imerovigli is one of the highest points on the caldera so there were many steps and hills. The pool here is small, more a plunge pool really, but it was enough to cool off while lying around staring at the view. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating. Our room was great and we especially loved our private courtyard overlooking the volcano and across to Oia and the other islands. We also got to witness marriage proposals almost every sunset! Highly recommend!!

The breakfast is mid, the room cleaning service is inconsistent. (Sometimes they clean the room sometimes not and when they do clean is not done well).

Nothing really, I just wish the taxi is cheaper as you have to walk to bus station going to Fira to access going to other places like Oia, Perissa and Kamari. But overall still very good!

I am quite amazed with the view. It was stunning, worth the price. We stayed at family room, although the balcony is shared we still have privacy. The breakfast was fabulous, eating in balcony is recommended. Beyond expected on everything. Thanks!

The bathroom needs an update.

Ilioperato Hotel is located right on the caldera with spectacular views, especially at sunset. The room was spacious with a seating area and kitchenette. The verandah was a relaxing place to enjoy the amazing views.

Everything was like a dream, nothing to complain about. My only suggestion is that they may add some extra sunbeds by the pool.

A lovely family run hotel with unparalleled view on the caldera and with the best (and private) view on the sunset. We were given a wonderful room with a private hot tub, we were helped with all transfers and we were also allowed to stay by the pool on the day of the checkout. All staff are extremely kind and always available. The breakfast on our room’s terrace was the final touch to make us fall in love! Would definitely come back!

The hotel perched on the cliff overlooking the sea is spectacular. Every morning, they bring a fresh breakfast to the private terrace, where you can choose from countless delicious options. The pool is beautiful and super clean, and the restaurant next to the pool is excellent. A special thanks to Johanna, who treated us like family, pampered and spoiled. We could always write to her, and she made our vacation truly unique. A big shout-out to Christian as well—we will miss our morning chats with him and his tips about the island. Always smiling. Thank you again!

Absolutely amazing views. Perfect location looking out on the caldera. Hotel best suited for couples who want a relaxing experience of Santorini without the hustle and bustle. Excellent and very helpful staff. Loved the delicious breakfast each morning on our balcony. Always sun loungers by the pool looking out on the amazing views.
