We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaThe photos of our room (room number 10) did not show that there is a building right in front of the room. The photos are strategically taken to show the old harbor on either side of the building. However, the building does not significantly detract from the beautiful views of the old harbor.

United KingdomThe car parking situation in Chania is unbearable. It took us more than 50 mins on a daily basis to find a parking spot for our rental car. It would have been nice for the hotel to have some kind of agreement with local car parks to accommodate for its customers.
Very good location, literally 1-min walk from Chania's old port and town. But also very quiet despite its central location.

GreeceThe location of the property is very advantageous since it is located in the heart of the Chania old harbor and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. The establishment was exceptionally clean, well equiped and with modern interior design. Finally the Hotel staff was trully kind and helpfull. I will certainly visit this place again!

GreeceThe main reason for the low score was the sleep quality. There was loud music, noise and vibration from the beat of the music, because the room is located above a bar. Myself and my husband were not able to sleep, while my kids slept quite well as they are not generally bothered by noise when they sleep. The other issue is that the room does not have any windows to open if you wish to get some fresh air. This can be done only by opening the front door which is not practical. Lastly (but not very important for us as we only used the room for a few hours) the WiFi speed was very low.
The location is excellent, the room was clean and well equipped, staff was polite.
