We didnt know Finikia at all, but our daughter recommended Santorini for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. As it turned out it was a great choice. There are no cars in Finikia just beautiful old white cobbled paths to your hotel. The walk to Oia is probably about 10 mins where there are all the facilities of a holiday resort but wonderful views. Would say at this point dont bother bringing any other shoes other than trainers and maybe a flat/wedge sandal, you just wont use them. The hotel itsefl was beautiful we had a room with a private outside area with a hot tub, it had a double shower, large bed and dressing gowns, slippers and all the luxury's you need on holiday. The breakfast was chosen the day before with your chosen time and then delivered to you either outside or in the room and it was amazing, try the pancakes, the chef was brilliant, we also had a couple of lunches there which again were delicious. The staff were all very accommodating, happy and couldn't do enough for us, Dimitris and his team cannot be praised enough. There are 3 beautiful restaurants in Finikia and we can recommend every one, just lovely. There is also a vineyard 10 mins walk the other way where we enjoyed wine tasting and lunch one afternoon.

The location is quite far from Oia center although the route is mostly flat.

Friendly staff and always happy to help. The breakfast was à la carte with lots of options and it was exceptional.

parking was a little tricky but completely understandable and not that big of a deal as the service made up for all of it!

the staffs (Dmitris , Baka and the chef )are friendly lovely and helpful . booked tours for us , organized pickup breakfast was great . Dmitris gave me complimentary croissants to take on board as I loved their croissants .. Baka was always of great help with our luggages , room services
