Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. The cleanliness of our room was superb and the rooms were cleaned daily. The rooms were a good standard and had an area with a seat and a mirror to get ready of a morning/ evening and we had a very good stay, we booked a room with a private pool and we used it every day and it was worth the extra bit of money. Breakfast was included and it was a help yourself buffet style unless you wanted an omelette made from scratch. Would highly recommend the restaurants/ tavernas Nikolas and Philosophia for an evening meal!!

United KingdomThe hotel is very close to the road, so if you sleep with open balcony it’s quite loud on the street, but if the balcony is closed it’s ok.
Great location, nice view especially in the evening, fabulous sunset. Comfortable bed, nice, welcoming staff.

United KingdomThere's nothing not to like, the pool could do with a little updating and the water temperature could be a little warmer for swimming but there's plenty of loungers, etc for seating with shade when needed. We had a room with a swim up pool, again the water temperature could have been warmer
As this hotel is breakfast only, I can only say that there was a choice for everybody from cereals, fruits, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, breads pastries, tea, coffee and juices but best of all are the chef specials of omelettes. You simply let the chef know what you want and he prepares and serves it to you, very well recommended. Regarding the pool bar, we initially thought it was a little expensive but when you venture out, the prices are very similar. Gerry has worked there for seven years so really knows his stuff, he's very friendly, professional and likes to keep the area very clean, we were there a week before the season got started so was quite quiet so make sure you go and have a drink with Gerry, he'll make your day ! The reception staff and cleaning staff are very pleasant and cheerful, the roof garden has it's own bar but wasn't open while we were there but is probably lovely to relax at and have a drink when the season gets going. All in all, we had a very nice time.

LuxembourgThe bathroom: showering was messy as the glass panel was too small causing unavoidable splashes all around the small bathroom. We had issues with plumbing and water came out from the floor drainage.
Easy parking, close to the city (a few minutes by foot), private jacuzzi (if you book one of those rooms), convenient mini store 24/7, swimming pool and nice rooftop.

HungaryIt is a little bit out of the city, but who has car, it isn't a problem, because this is why the hotel is calm, quiet. We had a few ants in our room, but it wasn't so annoying to us.
The hotel is beautiful, we had a great view to the sea. The room is big, bed is comfortable, the staff is really kind, helpful and nice. Zuzana Miskova was the receptionist most of the time when we were at the hotel, I really loved to speak with her, she is kind. The breakfast is excellent, there is a wide range of variety and the chef makes omlettes for wihses, so it is so delicious and fresh. In the neighbour are there more restaurants, shops, but the hotel has a little own shop too.

ItalyThe staff and the breakfast were perfect! The room was big; the shower was bit strange cause didn’t have full cover or the right lenghts “walk in” type. The little pool was really cool ( just little dirty ) but maybe that’s was due to season

United KingdomEven though we loved our stay, we would have like their card machines to be working as we did run out of euros and not many ATMs were located in or around the hotel
Stayed with a group of 5 last week. It was an amazing time. Staff were lovely and so helpful. Jerry the bartender stood out to us the most as he was very friendly and welcoming and made the best drinks. Staff at reception were very helpful with taxis and rental cars for us

United KingdomThere was a fridge in our room but no kettle or cups - a no-no for English travellers who always have tea bags in their luggage! However it wasn't too much of a hardship to go down to the buffet area and get 2 cups of hot water to take back to the room, we just wanted to be lazy :-D
We booked the deluxe suite and were extremely happy with our room and even more so with the balcony: a hot tub, 2 sun loungers, 4 seats, a table and a fabulous view over Pefki to the sea. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and spa bath/shower. Unfortunately when we tried to sit on the loungers one completely collapsed and the other had cracked legs and was very unstable - however we put this down to being the end of the season and the previous guests just generally treating them badly. Reception were very apologetic when we reported this and the next day not only had they been replaced/repaired while we were out but a bottle of wine had been left too, which was totally not expected or required. We'd only booked the bed & breakfast option, but the evening buffet looked well cooked and stocked with a lot of variety. The breakfast buffet was the same, with everything from fruit, to meats, cheeses, different breads and jams right up to complete fry-up if you wanted and we definitely didn't go out hungry! There's a nice pool area with loungers and outside bar if you didn't feel like walking 10 minutes to the nearest beach. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within a 15 minute stroll too. Would happily stay here again.

IrelandThe cleanliness was below my expectations, broken glass in the bedroom when we arrived, lumps of hair in the shower, ants, broken toilet seat and neither tv in the room worked. Then when we ordered pork gyros at the pool bar we were served hamburgers...
Good value for money and we had a lovely view of the sea, the staff were very friendly and helpful to order us taxis when we asked. Location was good as close to kavos beach so you don't need to go into town centre.

LatviaThe furniture in the room needs to be renewed. A simple map of the immediate area would be helpful
Cost effective, quite (not chic) but comfortable hotel with everything you need. Very good location, not in the middle of the resort, but relatively close to everything you need - both the beaches, the center of the resort, and Lindos. Responsive, kind, supportive staff. Thank you very much! Good, tasty dinner and breakfast.

United KingdomTHE POOL IS VERY SMALL AND VERY LITTLE SPACE AROUND IT, SO AGAIN EVERYONE CRAMMED NEAR TO EACH OTHER. ONLY USED IT FIRST MORNING. BALCONIES OK BUT NOT REALLY PRIVATE ENOUGH. WORST WAS THE PEOPLE COMING IN AT ALL HOURS AND BANGING DOORS. WALLS PRETTY THIN TOO.
BREAKFAST WAS PRETTY GOOD, A BIT MORE CHOICE WOULD BE GREAT. I LOVED THE VIEW OVERLOOKING THE GREENERY DOWN TO THE COAST. I WAS VERY PLEASED THAT THE HOTEL WAS AWAY FROM THE MAIN PART OF THE RESORT WHICH I FOUND NOISY AND A BIT NAFF. BEACHES A BIT OF A DISAPOINTMENT AS EITHER SMALL BUT PRETTY OR BIG WITH HUNDRED OF LOUNGERS AND BROLLIES CRAMMED TOGETHER. ENDED UP HIRING A CAR TO GET TO OTHER BEACHES FURTHER AWAY WITH LESS CROWDS. MOST BEACHES SHINGLE OF PEBBLES SO AQUA SHOES NEEDED.
