Despina was an extremely welcoming and accommodating host. We loved the size of the room, the bed was super comfy and the view was amazing. The added cakes placed in the rooms were a special added touch and super tasty! Thank you for everything.

There was nothing to dislike.

The property is well presented. The location is ideal, close to the action, but far enough away to be quiet. Despina is charming and helpful. Fresh cakes were in our room on arrival.

It was really a shame breakfast was not included as that would have been more convenient - however we knew that when we booked and there is a Nespresso machine and kettle in the room. Despina provided us with bowls etc so we could make our own breakfast. There is a fridge in the room and a supermarket very close by. A very small thing - i think the balcony furniture could be upgraded - the plastic chairs didnt match with the high standard of decor inside.

Location fantastic, a short walk from the town/harbour on one side and a very nice beach on the other. The town is immaculate, tidy and well-kept. Our room was newly renovated, very tastefully decorated and very comfortable beds. With balcony overlooking the sea. The inner coutyard was lovely and very peaceful. Welcome cakes in our room were delicious 😋

We got excited about breakfast having read amazing reviews but turned out there wasn’t any breakfast. That said it was likely an oversight on our part.

Immaculate, beautiful setting. Despina is very friendly and arranged our transfers and gave recommendations and even gave us a gift when we left.

I really have to think. There is nothing I did not like.

Despina welcomed me personally when I arrived and greeted me personally when I left. She even packed me home made snacks for my trip. What I loved about this place was the stunning view over the ocean, the big room and comfortable bed. I did not pay a lot of attention when I made this booking as I was in a rush. But it was that good that someone else travelling for the party checked out of her airBnB and booked in here. I will definately be back and hopefully soon

Everythng about our stay was perfect! Despina is the kindest lady and made us feel so special, i have never experienced such care in any other place. Despina went above and beyond. She arranged a transfer for me and had treats waiting for me when I arrived and departed. She even shared a homemade pie with me! She is a saint and her hotel is incredibly well located, super clean, and has everything you could need. I will be recommending Despina’s Mare to all my friends and family. Thank you, Despina!

In a way the location is not the best. Especially when walking with your bags. But it is not too far from the center. Especially if you go through the "right" path.

Almost everything was good there. The place remembers one big house. You feel this in every situation. We can start with the breakfast. It is amazing, cozy and really feel as home made. Despina, who is the owner, is kind. The room was modern. And the view was superb.

This is such a beautiful place to stay….the owner was so welcoming and even upgraded us on arrival. The room had everything you need, bed very comfortable and a beautiful little balcony where you can hear the sound of the sea. Thank you Despina for your hospitality and also the best breakfast we experienced while in Greece. Hope to return :)

This is an amazing boutique hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with modern facilities. The location is great. A few minutes walk from the naousa waterfront, but peaceful and quiet. Despina is a fabulous host who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. There was a great selection provided for breakfast. I will definitely be returning to Despina's Mare.

Great location, such a beautiful view of the Naoussa harbour from the balcony, the breakfast buffet was superb, the rooms were cleaned every day and new bed and towels were provided. Despina is such a lovely and generous host, she was so caring and she takes so much pride in her hotel! Well done keep it up! We will definitely return

Despina is absolutely wonderful and gave us a lot of helpful information about the area at check in. The room and the property is absolutely beautiful, breakfast consists of fresh fruit, muesli, nuts, Greek yoghurt and a mixture of pastries (sweet and savoury) as well as coffee and juice. I could not recommend Despina’s Mare enough to anybody considering visiting the Nauossa area.

We stayed in the SUPERIOR DOUBLE ROOM SEA VIEW on the 2nd floor. There was a palm tree that obstructed our view.If I had known that I would have booked the DOUBLE ROOM WITH SEA VIEW. There were 2 of those on the second floor right next to us that had a better balcony view and were less expensive. My only recommendation to her was either cut down the palm tree that obstructed our view or email the people staying in that room and let them know what their view from the balcony will be. Send them a picture beforehand so they will not be disappointed when they arrive.

We had a wonderful stay at Desina's Mare! Despina was a WONDERFUL host! The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. She even left us a bottle of wine to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. The breakfast variety and quality was GREAT! We met some wonderful people there from all over the world. Despina gave us great recommendations on beaches and restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was 'Open Garden'! She also set up our transportation from the ferry and to the airport when we left. I would DEFINITELY recommend staying at Despina's Mare!! I would stay there again if I ever go back to Paros.
