The only negative (although we found it fun) was the driveway to get to the place is very narrow. Our taxi drivers had no problem getting up the track and we hired a smart car and had no problem either but just to note if you are looking to get a car, get a small one unless you want the challenge!

I don’t even know where to start on this review. Our stay exceeded all our expectations and then some. We loved every single second at Danae suites and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we ever go back to Santorini. It was the perfect location between Thira and Oia. About a 10 minute walk up the hill to Oia but don’t let that put you off as it’s so much closer than we thought! The pool area was gorgeous and so peaceful. They played lovely music all day everyday and it was honestly just the most idyllic place to switch off, I’ve never ever felt so relaxed in my life. The staff cannot do enough for you, from reception to the lovely waiters and the maids who cleaned our rooms they were all absolutely incredible. Every day we came back to our room all clean, all my toiletries lined up and pjs folded etc just little details I am so grateful for and is something I appreciate. The views are just spectacular we pretty much stayed round the pool all day everyday because we couldn’t get enough of the calm atmosphere which is exactly what we wanted. On our last day we had a late flight so they even let us hang round by the pool, gave us fresh towels, organised our transfers all with ease and nothing was too much bother for them. Really really can’t say enough how much difference it makes having lovely staff at a place like this. I also need to mention after reading some reviews saying the food wasn’t all that and the breakfast is minimal I 100% disagree! The food we had by the pool was amazing and the iced coffees and smoothies were gorgeous. The breakfast menu had loads of choice and you could order more than one dish so some days we would have 2 breakfast dishes and something sweet like pancakes too, all included! Absolutely 10/10 stay! Thank you so so much!

We loved our stay in Danae Suites. We had travelled around a couple islands in Greece and this stay was the highlight! Location is ideal, away from the busy crowds but also within walking distance to Oia. The staff were extremely accommodating, the interiors were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be booking Danae Suites again if ever in Santorini.

Was absolutely perfect. The hotel is in a more quiet area in Finikia, about a 15-20 minute walk to Oia. The pool is beautiful with amazing sunset views. There are great restaurants 5 minutes walk away. The staff here are exceptional, friendly and make you feel extremely welcome with their hospitality. The room is thoroughly cleaned daily and left spotless. They helped us organise transfers to and from the port and let us stay by the pool while waiting for our late ferry even after checking out. Our room had the beautiful Santorini cave aesthetic with modern design and was brand new. We loved having our own spa pool as well. Overall it was truly a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend staying here.

Impeccable facilities and design with incredibly luxe feels in the cave houses. The infinity pool and bar was the perfect place to soak up the sunset. Serene, peaceful great to meander to Foinikia Village. Close proximity to Oia by car or 40 minute walk up hill. The hospitality of the staff was so generous and thoughtful, especially Tania. 🤍💙🇬🇷

The breakfast was good but the only minus would be the orange juice was not freshly squeezed orange juice.

The property was perfect- very clean, modern and beautiful. The view was breathtaking. Watching the sunset by the pool every evening was a highlight. But what made this holiday were the staff… they were EXCEPTIONAL. They took care of us and our 2 year old son so well, were kind and attentive and we will definitely be returning in the future. We will also be telling all our friends and family to visit. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and making us feel so at ease and welcome!! One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had and we are frequent travellers!

Local restaurants were a bit of an uphill hike to get to from the hotel but food on offer from all of the restaurants was exceptionally good

It would be nice to have a gym room to be able to exercise, and to have more options for breakfast.

The rooms were lovely and cosy, they had everything you needed. It had a nice pool area with a view, it is smaller but it never had a it to people around the it so always plenty of room.

It wasn't easy to get to the property due to the narrow road to get to it and in the night some doors were closed but we called the staff each time and they solved our problems.

The place was better than what we expected, the staff was really helpful and nice with us. We had difficulties reaching the property but they send a golf cart to get us and they let us stayed in the accomodations after out chek-out while we waited for our flight.

The hotel was really nice, with a comfortable room which was cleaned and left spotless every single day. There was also a wonderful pool facility with a stunning view. At Danae Suites the staff was always friendly and ready to help.

Harder to get around to other places on the island, the cab drivers seemed to have a harder time getting there with how the roads were built
