Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomMy only reservation, and this is down purely to my own poor health, is that its position is a little far from the nearest town/ village, only about one kilometre but too much for me to walk. However, there are regular buses.
Lovely friendly family owners, very helpful and easygoing. The property itself is absolutely fantastic, it looks so clean and up to date it could have been built last week, only the beautiful mature gardens give its age away!! Amazing views, huge comfortable and well equipped studios, everything that you need is here.

PolandNothing really except maybe that the shower hanger didn't have attachment so you have to hold the showerhead in your hand while showering. Maybe a pool table would be nice in the bar area. And the location wasn't that practical.
Beautiful view of the sea and mountain. Very spacious apartment with a huge balcony. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, free WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, Hair dryer, big L shaped couch in front of satellite TV, big pool with baby section and lots of sitting space around. All very clean. Bar with drinks + tv (alcohol included), car parking under olive trees is free, super friendly owners.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything that we didn't like. It's a family run aparthotel, everyone involved always had a smile and were very polite and friendly. Probably the biggest issue is walking along the road to get anywhere by foot, there is no pavement and you have to be prepared to tuck into the hedge when you get cars/coaches/lorries passing each other, it gets very narrow.
The apartments were set back from the road, far enough not to hear traffic. The room was clean and great for just using as a base. The kitchen was not really suitable for cooking, just enough to make a tea or a coffee. The fridge was a standard size under unit one, suitable for keeping milk, wine and beer. I didn't swim in the pool but it looked lovely and clean. All of the sunbeds were fairly new and all in good condition. There is a changing room and shower close to the pool, no need to go back to your room. We walked from here everyday to the beach which was about 10 minutes away. A good base to stay with good car parking space. Lots of nice beaches and restaurants within easy driving, with a few that were walkable. It's a family run aparthotel, everyone involved always had a smile and were very polite and friendly. The breakfast that was served had a good selection to start your day. We had a couple of evening snack meals here also, when we had eaten at a restaurant at lunchtime, there was always a good selection for this as well.

SerbiaOnly thing that can be better is breakfast, because breakfast was the same whole 10 days. Everything else is more than enough. Also location could be a problem if somebody travel without car, because there is no beach or market at walking distance.
Excellent facility with extremely hospitable hosts. We had some unexpected health issues before our trip, so we must postpone our stay. They accepted to postpone our stay at the same apartment for a few dates with no extra charge. Apartment is very clean and well equipped with all necessities, and they clean it every few days. Wi Fi was very good as well. Facility has nice and clean pool, beautiful sea view, adequate parking space for guests and cafe/snack bar. At snack bar you can drink coffee, many alcoholic or soft drinks, eat ice cream or have a lunch/dinner. Food is good and prices are decent.

United KingdomThe busy roads were scary to walk on to get to the buses, beach or supermarket (although the buses were very good).
Beautiful setting, stunning apartment with lovely balcony and views, very friendly family owners and fantastic pool. Breakfast was an added bonus and the apartment was cleaned every 2 days. We loved our stay in this special aparthotel and we loved exploring Corfu by bus. Many thanks to the family. We didn't want to leave.

United KingdomLoved everything! Maybe for someone who doesn’t like to walk would need a car to go to the nearest shops or restaurants.
The family that own the property are so kind, welcoming and always so helpful. It’s a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. Swimming pool is very well maintained as well as the apartments. We arrived late evening and we had find a bottle of cold water in the fridge which was a very nice gesture. No hidden costs, everything worked well. I loved the air conditioning in the each room. I highly recommend that place. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality!

United KingdomEverything was just right!
This has to be one of the most amazing family room hotels I have come across . It was in a quiet peaceful location , yet walking distance to Barbarti and it’s beautiful beaches.Spiros and his wife and Antoni were so kind and always around to advise us on days trips ect. The food at the hotels was tasty and very reasonable priced. The rooms were very spacious and so very clean. The pool was just at the beautiful temperature and never crowded. I am planning to take my nurse colleagues back there very soon and it will be one of my to go places for that peaceful getaway . There are buses for day trips to Corfu ect which are so cheap. The people of this Island are so friendly and warm and I can’t wait to return to see them all. A huge thank you to Spiros and all the family and staff. I hope to see you again soon xxxx sheena and emma

LithuaniaHaving a washing machine in the apartment could have been useful.
Everything went how we planned and expected (it is hard to believe, actually:). This is a very beautiful and calm place runned by the nice and helpful family. Highly recommended if you are looking to slow down and stay away from the noise. It was fully booked but didn't feel crowded, other guests were mostly couples and families with children. It is located near the mount Pantokrator, which provides great view and hides from the heat in the afternoon. There are a few small secluded pebbly beaches well suited for snorkelling nearby (we reccomend to buy cheap swimming shoes for comfort). The pool is clean and breakfast good. If you want to explore the island more, it is essential to rent a car (Chrystal Blue provides free parking). If you want to do more shopping, you can go to Kassiopi (30 min drive). In Barbati (2 min drive or 15 min walk) there are little supermarkets and great restaurants (especially Dionysos, they also offer takeouts). Glyfa Beach across the street has an amazing restaurant (expensive, but worth it).

RomaniaI didn’t like that the room wasn’t soundproof as they said in the room description. You could easily hear other neighbours using the bathroom, when they open the balcony doors, and moving chairs on the floor. I didn’t like that breakfast was limited, bland and the same for 7 days. It would have been nice if they changed even something small. I didn’t liked that the pool was open only until 19:00, yet the sun sets after 21:00. (It would have been nice to have a beer near the pool in the evening, especially that the pool has a nice light) Also, the bathrooms and the doors could use some small upgrades( noisy and squeaky)
I liked the location, you have sea view, a garden, a pool and a mountain view beside you. Also you have a nice parking under the shade of olives, which is helpful on a hot summer day. The staff was very nice and helpful, always smiling.

United KingdomNot a lot really, if being picky could suggest a change in breakfast options over the week! 😝
Beautiful views, fabulous pool, very clean and newly decorated, located in a quieter part of the island but perfect for relaxing with several beaches and upmarket tavernas in walking distance.

United KingdomNot a dislike but wasn't aware there weren't balconies, we had a patio area which was fine but wasn't as private as a balcony. You could just walk out on to the grass which some may love but personally prefer to have a closed space.
Everything was beautiful and clean and the grounds were really nicely maintained. The pool was big and had plenty of seating for everyone which was lovely! Breakfast was good and always kept topped up whatever time you arrived which was appreciated. A little more variety for the week would be nice, maybe some fresh fruit, but overall very good! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, we had lunch there on the first day and the food was excellent. Overall a great place to stay- we would certainly return! The location is also great however I would suggest you have a car if you want to get around, the roads are very busy and not pedestrian friendly. The hotel has ample parking for everyone at different tiers for ease of cases etc. Barbati beach is also beautiful and great for snorkelling! Overall great location and hotel. Met all our needs.
