The room was great and the staffs were exceptional. Both Kalypso and Odysseus were hospitable, awesome and informative about the surrounding area and extremely friendly. They just make us feel like home. We were offered a pickup ride from the port to the hotel. It was close distance but it did save us a lot of trouble looking for transportation. The hotel location was convenience indeed. It’s close to the seabus and i believe it’s close to bus station as well. We only used seabus as main transportation and it was easy. There was a little mini market nearby as well. So if we need snacks or forget some travel kits, that will be the place to go. The hotel also provides service for ATV / motorbike rental arrangement. The room itself was roomie. The bed was comfortable. We had big room and big bathroom. Although we didn’t book a room with a view, the ocean view was 3 steps away. Many people spent their afternoon sitting in the dining area drinking coffee/ bear with a great ocean view.

Avra is a very clean and boutique small hotel serving very delicious breakfast ! Calypso made our stay fantastic by upgrading us to a room with a little pool and a nice view of harbour ! Thnx to her 🙏🏻Owners and all of the staff was very friendly ; especially Oddiseus served fresh and yummy food during the breakfast. Thnx to his kind attitude 🙏🏻 The old harbour of Mykonos is easy to reach by seabus from the hotel ; it takes 3 minutes to walk to the new harbour which is located in front of the hotel… We are happy that we stayed there 😃 I strongly advice AVRA to couples looking for a quite; modern and clean place to relax !

To move from the hotel to the center/small town to reach restaurants or shops you need a car. However, the hotel is very close to the pier and they offered us a free transfer what it was really convenient for us.

The views from one of the two rooms we were in, was fantastic. You have your own sunset from the comfort of your balcony. Extremely helpful and kind staff.

We had the most fantastic stay at Avra. Kalpyso and Odysseus could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful during our stay. Our room had its own private pool with the most beautiful view of the ocean and the sunset. The room itself was modern and so clean. We arrived after spending two weeks on mainland Europe and therefore it was the perfect place to relax after travelling. We often spent all afternoon at the pool sunbathing! Obviously if you are looking for a more party experience, it may be a bit far away but for us, this was great as it was quiet and relaxing. The breakfast each morning was delicious! There is also a supermarket 2 mins away and a couple of local restaurants. Thanks to all at Avra for everything! Would definitely come back if we come back to Mykonos!

This hotel was lovely. The people around are very attentive and nothing is too much when you ask them for anything. Hotel is situated about a 5 minute walk from the old port where boats and ships regularly dock. This was amazing to see especially during the sunset periods. Room was super clean, very modern and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone else thinking of going to Mykonos 👍🏻

when I think of all the hotels I’ve stayed in , this one is definitely the best. I can’t think of a single thing that we didn’t like. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and everyone at the hotel was extremely welcoming and friendly, they had prepared our room with the cutest balloons, flowers and a complimentary wine bottle. The room had the best view of the sea, everything was incredibly clean and modern. The housekeeper did an amazing job every day, I’ve never seen a hotel room being cleaned this well. The breakfast was really good and delicious. Also, the location of the hotel was very convenient being very close to the bus stop and the sea bus as well. Thank you to George, Kalypso and Odessyeus for the great experience we had, it literally felt like home.

The position is great if you come from the port. Not the best if you need to go to the beach in the south of Mykonos because there are only a few busses and they all leave from Mykonos Town. Overall the position is a 9/10. Just plan in advance or if you can afford it take a taxi.

The room was very clean and the service was professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. The view from our room was amazing and the breakfast in the morning was very good. The staff organized a pick up and a drop off from/to the port which really helped us a lot since the street to walk to the hotel doesn't have a pedestrian side walk.

When we arrived for check in the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they took our luggage up to our room for us. My husband mentioned to them that it was our honeymoon and the staff went beyond our expectations and decorated our room so nicely with petels and a hand written letter. They also provided us with wine and water. Throughout our whole stay they continued to be really supportive, friendly and chatty. Recommending us different places to visit, provided us every morning with a lovely breakfast. Sorted out any problems we had. Avra hotel definitely has the best staff. 10/10 recommend. Thank you for all you did for us. We both had a lovely stay and we wish them all the best for the future.
