Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI think rennovations are taking place as I write this review but what could improve is the insects in our room. Not sure how they managed to get inside given I ensured all was locked fairly well. I guess its innevitable given the climate and the location of the hotel (green and very humid). Another matter to consider at this hotel is the mosquito bites. They are ninjas./
The resort itself is quite massive. We travelled as a family (with a 3yo). The place is very family oriented. There are shuttles that take you to the beach and back to reception/restaurant. A convenient place if you plan to just stay in the hotel and relax in its facilities and beach. Might seem like quite a lot to do at first but really you would only be utilising the pool and the restaurant for most of the cases, unless of course you purhcased a tour online from countries that have contracts with the palace (I assume France/Poland being the most oriented). Was really pleased to see that there is constant work going on around to improve the facilities. Some parts seem to be under reconstruction/rennovation, means that owners are working towards improving the place. I guess my rating solely relied on the staff being really friendly. Dionisis and Popi were a highlight. Apart from understanding Greek form of communication, they were great at making contact and just bein really helpful.

The resort is designed to be one great labirinth, excelent design idea. Every road leads you somewhere new, and you can find countless ways of getting to the same point but via a different path.

Belgium- you walk a lot to go from A to B (there is a shuttle organised if you want). - the amount of people when the hotel is full, which you can feel in the restaurants - the food of the buffet for lunch and dinner which is not very good (but you cannot expect better with so many guests) (however there is plenty of food so you will always find something eatable). - the hotel is far away from shops in the surroundings. so in the evening there is not much to do.
- the beach next to the hotel is very nice ! - the room we had had a very nice view on the sea ! (not all rooms have that) - the staff was very friendly !

Ukraine1. No daily program 2. No sports 3. Number of people on reception 4. Wifi network is dead Basically, it would be much better to have those 4 nuances fixed, because if you really want to try everything and not be in a rush, take 5-7 days.

United KingdomThe staff. The lack of consistency in terms of information that we receives was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. We arrived on the first day late and we were received by a member of staff who was distracted with other costumers while was talking with us, didn’t give us any informations about the restaurants timings breakfast, dinner…., didn’t ask us our nationality (gave us papers in French) and didn’t give us the bracelets. The best day we went to the reception again to request more information and a lovely lady ( very helpful) gave us all the information about the hotel, allow us to do late check out on our last day ( whith out mentioning any price at all) and offered us dinner in one of the restaurants of the hotel. On the last day we went to the bedroom in the afternoon to have a shower and out door was locked (check out was done) so we went to the reception and a different lady seemed very surprised with our room for late check out because apparently we didn’t payed in the morning ( ???? . No one informed us about anything) and we needed new keys. I got so upset with this that in the end they gave us the check out as offer because of mistakes. The services of the hotel are very poor. They don’t give big bottles of water. You need to request small ones and they only have it at the reception( which doesn’t make any sense for the environment and is more expensive for the hotel) or if you are at the beach you need to fill your bottle in a machine of water. If you want a bottle ( small or big you have to pay) The beach or pool bar are very poor. No proper snacks with the drinks. The bar by the beach has a pizzeria but if you want a fresh pizza you need to pay.
The view is amazing. The hotel has a beautiful location and is very romantic for a weekend away. The restaurant staff was very sweet and kind. The food very good at dinner.

PolandThe hotel is definitely not a 5 star resort, 3+ maximum! Everything is very old and needs a renovation. Dirty and old-fashioned. The beach towels are old, torn and should be replaced long time ago. The food is at the canteen level, definitely not a 5 star resort restaurant. The quality of the meat or fish leave much to be desired… breakfast - very poor choice, powder eggs, cheap hams, bad looking sausages with strange over salted taste, refurbished products from the previous day dinner. Lunch - menu more less is the same for every day… chicken with bones and cartilages, even the pork is hard to chew… fish is over salted and very dry… salads are ok, but pasta, rice and french fries are below acceptable level. Dinner is only ok sometimes, but not every time. It’s a shame, that some of the dinners, the pizza was the only descent option to have a meal. The drinks for all inclusive guests are with low quality and small amount of alcohol. The cocktail menu is very poor, even the coffee is disgusting. If you see a cocktail menu at the pool or a beach bar with the prices, don’t be in a hurry to make an order (that’s not for you), as for the all inclusive package guest you will be thrown a laminated card with simple cocktails, based on a cheap local alcohol. The prices for the cocktails out of the all inclusive menu are twice higher than in normal bar and taste the same, despite the known brand alcohol inside. 9-12 euro for one drink is way too expensive. Don’t expect any smile from the resort staff, there is a feeling that they work as punishment that you cause… Unless you speak French or give some tips… Animation and all of the entertainment is only in French, so if you don’t speak French - it’s not for You, as we were told by the animation staff and the door was closed in front of the face without any apologizes.

All inclusive hotel. Fantastic experience from the moment of my arrival. Upon checking in, my family were shuttled to our room and the gentleman handled our bags and told us how to get to the main dining area and pools. There were so many things to do and could be scheduled right at the lobby. Tours can be scheduled on site as well as vehicle rentals. Spa experience was the greatest. Highly recommend!! Receptionist and actually ALL STAFF were so friendly and helpful. Many shops to do last minute shopping for souvenirs. I would definitely stay again. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience.

United KingdomWhere our room was, was very close to where the domestic staff kept their stock which meant they often chatted outside our room waking us up (however this is only 1 specific room so most should be fine!) Also just FYI, The beach's sand is more 'grit' like rather than sand
Mr Pizza man made the best pizza. He served each slice with a warm smile and he was passionate about presentation skills. I had pizza every night. Guaranteed to put a smile on your child's face...or any pizza addict. Great Stone oven. Great man. Also, the facilities were great we enjoyed playing tennis every day, there pools are great and all staff were lovely:) the rooms were comfortable and the all inclusive food was brilliant and such good value!

United Arab EmiratesSofia at the reception is rude. First time in greece, been to Rhodes before crete and this place didn't feel like home, as my 8 yr old daughter suggested first night at the hotel. Way over rated and over priced. In Heiden sight would've been better to look at other places. As we were on half board i didn't have cash and i normally use my credit card, Sofia didn't want tp accept 5 euro for the Beach bar and another 5 euro for the pool bar and she was imminent to charge the staff back. All other staff members werr absolutely amazing apary from Sofia..
The beach was amazing, the staff apart from Sofia were warm and helpful, i love the greeks!
