Was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment, the facilities were dismal, the bathrooms were falling apart and there was a severe lack of bedding. Pipes coming out of the floors was unsettling.

when we got into our “cleaned” room a tampon was hanging out of the tv. very noisy, very dirty and ran down. Full of young bag packers drinking all night. Beds are very uncomfortable and staff were rude- we witnessed one staff member shouting at a female member of staff and slamming his fist on the counter in-front of several guests. i wouldn’t recommend this for visitors

Where do we start… It’s essentially a party hostel which is cool - except for it doesn’t run any hostel group activities. Definitely don’t stay there if you have any intention of sleeping. There is music playing 24 hours a day. Everyone is constantly and obnoxiously slamming doors - staff included. The shower wasn’t what is pictured online, had no pressure or temperature control. The place smelled of bleach as if it was clean but the air vents on the Air conditioning unit were Mouldy and the toilet leaked water onto the floor.

Close to the port and bus route. The pool looked nice but we didn’t use it.

our room was extremely small and crammed. We had no balcony and our bathroom was not clean at all!! The shower head had mould on it which really isn’t acceptable. Moving onto the beds they were very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in the mattress all night. Aswell as all this there was only one working socket in the whole room. We didn’t have very high expectations going into this hotel as the price was very low but we still couldn’t believe how bad it was

One of the only good things I can say about this hotel is that the location is brilliant. A 5 minute walk from the port where you get the ferry and there was a range of lovely restaurants to choose from. There was a big pool however it was a green colour and to be honest looked like a swamp

The one thing the property fell down on was the bathrooms. They’re quite outdated, unclean and the showers have bad water pressure. This didn’t ruin our stay at all as the price is very reasonable for Ios and the atmosphere, balcony and pool made up for this element, but don’t expect modern bathrooms.

This is my second time staying at Armadoros and won’t be the last. We loved the pool area with the outdoor bar; the bartender Paul was excellent! I’d definitely recommend it for a young party group as long as you’re respectful and stop playing music at around midnight. We booked the apartment which is great for groups of 5-7 people and had a huge balcony.

This hotel is daily a hostage of a group of drunk youngsters who make a terrible noise inside and outside the building at any time. Of course the situation is tolerated by the hotel management as the bar close to the pool sells to the young customers gallons of beer and cocktails. If you hope to sleep during night time forget it. For this reason families with children and romantic couples must avoid this hotel.

The only positive thing was the politeness of the woman who welcomed us upon our arrival and gave us a room in which everything was regularly working. My feedback is not the lowest only for respect to that gentle woman.

Room was not clean - at all. Contact lenses left from previous guests , floor not swept , bed sheets were not fresh. No cleaning service was provided- apparently because of covid. The owner was incredibly rude On our arrival and lectured us about COVID-19 and the rules etc- and then the room wasn’t even clean!!

The location is good, very close to the port. Can walk to town centre- although lots of uphill steps!!

I liked nothing about the hotel if I am being honest. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the booking website, almost felt like a scam. The swimming pool was disguisting , the bottom had a green disguisting slippery layer. The sunbeds weren't that clean either. Now for the rooms , they look like hostel's rooms, with bunk beds , that are so not comfortable , they were so stiff, with terrible bed sheets . The AC didn't work properly and it was super hot in the room, the room had no tv , no extra covers, and all the furniture looked 20 years old the bathroom is not that great either, there was no shelf for my stuff, and the shower curtain was disguisting and you only get hot water every now and then. the bathroom barely had toilet paper but nothing else, not even hand soap. The lady at the reception desk is a bit rude as well, and not at all friendly, and they made me wait for almost 40min upon arrival because the room wasn't ready, knowing that they were expecting me and that the reservation was made a couple of months ahead, this is how chaotic it is. And since the hotel is so old, you absolutely need earplugs to be able to sleep at night otherwise with all the noise and the people shouting and screaming you won't be able to sleep at all This was my first time booking on this website , and I will never do it again, such a rip off. DO NOT GO THERE, that's my only advise.

The lack of room cleaning service where our towels were not changed once over the four days and most of all the pubic hairs on the desk upon arrival. What was most shocking of all was the unhelpful staff who stole our friends speaker.

Too much noise (doors clapping hard all night, people screaming in the halls, constant drinking at the pool) due to other visitors, the water in the bathroom didn't leave, the air conditionning was breaking down.

No control over noise. Felt like the housekeeping staff could care less about the guests by slamming doors and screaming down the hallway at any times. When coming back at 8 am I wanted to sleep until 1 or 2 but I was woken up at 11 by all the shouting.

The staff at reception were very nice but the housekeeping not so much.

They cared only the aesthetic part of the hotel (the pool etc) but the rooms were not clean and the water in the bathroom tasted very bad, every time I had to wash my teeth I felt like I had to throw up. Moreover, the bathroom when we arrived was dirty, my roommate had to clean it herself.

The rooms were not clean, the water smells like urine and although the pool area is nice and has a few games, the water doesn't feel cleaned. A lot of teenagers, so if you're looking for a nice stay, I wouldn't recommend. It's more of a backpacker/teenager/hostel type of place.

The room was very small so stumbling around my suitcase. Also the walls are very thin and it was very Loud with people coming back after a night out. Kind of expected for a cheap hostel tho! Beds and aircon weren’t great but for the price I was happy to stay here

Location and pool were great. Lots of young people around, similar age to me. Hotel was clean enough and the bathroom was as actually quite nice.
