Friendly and amazing staff, who are very helpful and caring. The room has a beautiful view, including amazing sunset views, while enjoying a drink from the jacuzzi. We were so spoiled with an amazing breakfast. The room has got all the facilities you need and more. Would definitely recommend this place. We were treated like VIPs. Nothing, everything was perfect !

We can’t stress enough how nice and welcoming Andra and Marios are. The Ambeli Sunset Villas is such a nice place because of the view and the jacuzzi/pools, but also thanks to the atmosphere set by Andra and Marios. They provided us with all information needed, booked a fine restaurant at Ammoudi bay and a beautiful cruise to see the sunset. All suggestions were on point to discover this beautiful island. The villa was clean, exactly as advertised on booking. The staff is very flexible and warm hearted. Fresh and personalized breakfast delivered to your door every morning at the time you request. Top customer service. We had the best time there and we will definitely be back. Thank you again for everything!!

My fiancé and I had an unforgettable experience at this hotel in Santorini! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Marios and Daria, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were incredibly kind, generous, and their hospitality was second to none. Each day, they chatted with us, offering fantastic suggestions and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was absolutely amazing—spacious, beautifully appointed, and complete with a warm jacuzzi. The view from our room was nothing short of breathtaking, making our stay even more magical. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. As vegans, we were thrilled that they made special meals for us each morning, which were absolutely delicious. Wow! What a place! Fantastic hosts! Incredible location with the view of sunset. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there!! Andra, the hostess, is the most amazing person. Marios is great and very helpful! So warm and welcoming! The breakfast is fantastic and served fresh every day! You will also have the free sun bed when going to the black beach. Just incredible. They have gifted us the bottle of wine and the magnet with the view from the villa we stayed. Tip: increase your budget and stay in 2 bedroom villa with the swimming pool. That is absolutely worth it. Tip 2: rent the car to visit Oia and Thira. The hotel will help you out with the car as well. Thank you so much. We recommend this place 1000000%

My two friends and I wanted to go on vacation to Santorini and were looking for a beautiful villa that met our needs. After a long search on various platforms, we found Ambelli Sunset Villa in Santorini advertised on Booking.com with an exceptional rating of 9.7. We booked directly and flew there with great anticipation. I must say, the 9.7 rating is more than deserved. In our eyes, everything was simply perfect, a solid 10/10. **Location: 10/10** The villa is in a prime location with breathtaking views. We could enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the proximity to many attractions. **View: 10/10** The view of the sunset was just magical. Every evening, we were able to admire the spectacular scenery from our terrace, which impressed us anew each day. **Furnishings: 10/10** The villa was modern, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The villas are one of a kind, beautifully decorated, and with gorgeous crater views from the privacy of your spacious patio and private pools. The design touches are really unique and gorgeous - just recognize that the pics on the website are understated, and don’t fully capture the elegance and thoughtful amenities. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and provided many recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. You’ll have a wonderful time in this private bit of paradise.

The flies, but the island has a fly problem in general, however if you make sure that you don’t leave doors and windows open without the mesh fly guard, you should be fine. Other than that, the place is incredible.

My family and I absolutely loved everything about this villa and the staff. We felt welcomed from the first minute we arrived. The reception staff were very knowledgeable about the island and made everything and everywhere we wanted to go and do so easy to arrange. The cleaning staff and pool staff were also very friendly and polite. The attentiveness of all the of staff was second to none. I would recommend this place to everyone. You will not regret it.

One of our best stays ever. Andra and Marios responded to all of our requests. Melina and Ida kept our room spotless and the daily breakfasts were wonderful. Not sure if we will ever make it back to Santorini but if we do we feel we would be returning as friends.

From before arrival communication with Andra all the way through departure everything was excellent. Quick communication and Andra coordinated having some local wines in our room upon arrival. Everything was beautiful and clean. It was so nice being away from the crowds and having a large pool all to ourselves. The breakfast was very good and plenty of coffee, tea, and water in the room. An amazing experience at Ambelli. The views are something we will never forget. Great stay for when you are in Santorini, away from crowds, amazing views, friendly staff (shout out to Andra 😊), amazing breakfast, and lovely decorated building. We will be back!! We could not recommend this place enough!! Also you can’t beat the price 😊

Bit close to the road but really doesn’t bother you at all once in and you can’t hear it. Mattresses a bit soft and sheets a bit ill fitting but that’s an easy fix. Everything else amazing!

Big wow factor when you walk in, amazing views, pool area and very swish inside. Views over the caldera are stunning. Andra and Marios on reception were super lovely and an absolute pleasure to talk to - really go out of their way to help and check you have everything you need, big thank you! Breakfast brought on a tray by 2 beaming ladies was very generous and tasty!

Exceptionally Amazing!! We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with a private pool with another couple. From the time of booking the staff were INCREDIBLY helpful. They booked our personal airport and ferry transfers, local trips to/from restaurants, shopping etc. Andra also arranged a fantastic private chef (Capers) for dinner on our private terrace at sunset. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect experience. The villa has amazing views that are breathtaking, especially from the pool, the outdoor area included hammock, sofas, lounge beds, shower and a grill. A very friendly cleaning staff and pool cleaner came every day. Andra and Marios managing the property were THE BEST! Just a text and they responded immediately to anything we needed. Absolutely superb service from Andra and Marios! We were so well looked after- really a game changer. We had a lot more space than we would have in Oia and had parking right outside which was important to us. The property is fab too- we took the room with a jacuzzi and spending sunset there was magical!

Nothing to dislike here at all. I would recommend a hire car when staying here, as although Megalochori and Akrotiri are within walking distance, the Santorini roads are not nice or safe to walk as there are generally no pavement areas.

Located in the quieter South of the island away from the chaos of the cruise ship tourists and influencers in Oia, Ambeli is an ideal base for seeing the beautiful and quieter villages of Megalochori, Emporio, and Akrotiri, visiting the beaches, and the Akrotiri archeology site. We stayed here after a few nights just outside Oia, and the change of pace in the South left us feeling we had seen so much more of Santorini than the many visitors who just remain in Oia or Thira. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts, who are super helpful and friendly, and nade us feel really welcomed and looked after. A delicious and plentiful breakfast was delivered to the room each day. The villa itself is clean and nicely designed, and there is ample parking if you have a hire car. The views of the caldera from the villa are staggering! A perfect stay, and we would happily come again.
