Words cannot describe how the owners and staff at Altana supported me during a recent trip to Santorini. After an accident on a different island ,Mario together with his bother Cristos and all staff showed me kindness, empathy and support during my short stay. After sustaining a horrific leg injury prior to my arrival, the staff helped us re organise transfers from the port to the hotel and later to a private hospital. A wheelchair was organised and food delivery to my room. They supported my husband with alternative things for me to do on the island and ensured my room was as accessible as possible while at the same time ensuring I had the most amazing view of the caldera. ( the reason we chose the suites to begin with) Staff helped me make the most of my situation ,never once making me feel like a burden. Mario himself remained awake and up past 3 am pending our delayed arrival. He met us and assisted us with luggage and promised he and his staff would support us in any way they could - a promise they all lived up to. I will forever be grateful for the kindness shown . They should be very proud of the suites they provide. This place is something more special than any rating can reflect !!

Breakfast by your pool on the deck with the most spectacular views is the best we have experienced yet. The facilities are amazing, the roof top pool with its view is spectacular. All the staff were so helpful, Christos and Marios thank you for your recommendations for places to visit, these were very helpful and we ticked off so many on the list. This is an amazing place and a must to visit.

My wife and I came here for part of our honeymoon. And we certainly were not disappointed when we arrived! You are immediately greeted with a stunning view of the caldera and a blue dome of a church (postcard perfect view). The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, and gave us valuable recommendations for places to eat and visit. We felt extremely welcome at all times. The private jacuzzi was lovely for unwinding at the end of a long day of walking. The room was very cute yet also spacious. The pool for the hotel also has a stunning view, where we took some wedding photos. Watching the sunset light cast over the sea from the pool was sublime. We will never forget our time here, thank you for making our honeymoon special :)

Everything was amazing! We were met with the most caring and kind staff who looked after us throughout our stay. The room itself was beautifully decorated and shared amazing views of the Caldera. There's nothing we wouldn't like.

This was the most beautiful hotel we ever visited, pictures can't describe it enough. When I saw those views I felt pretty emotional. People working here are really nice, ready to fulfill your every need. Hospitality I haven't seen before. When we arrived they brought a cold drink. You return to the hotel after long journey and it's hot they offer you cold drink with ice for free. They also booked a local restaurant for us. Light in our jacuzzi worked weakly, another day someone came to repair it and as a recompensation they brought two bottles of wine. Breakfast is delivered to your private tarace when you wish for it. You can also choose the amount and things you would like to eat. Restaurant below has a very good food, unique dishes we haven't tasted before. Hope we can come back one day and thanks to altana for amazing hospitality.

we stayed 4 night at the Altana Heritage Suites. the jacuzzi was clean and warm. the view was stunning. Breakfast was good. you can watch the sunset at the terrace comfortably. the nearby environment was quiet. it is located between Fira and Oia. 25 min walk to Fira and the trail has a good View of Santorini. Very helpful staff. The swimming pool had a good panorama view of Santorini.

After researching hotels for weeks, we were so happy with this truly exceptionally beautiful hotel, even for the high standards of Santorini. The staff is some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve experienced—especially the twin owners—and the hotel offers a stunning view over the caldera. Personally, we also liked being in Imerovigli better than crowded Oia.

The views are stunning. We booked honeymoon suite, just because of the views it promised and it was worth all the money. We didn´t want to leave the hot tube and terrace, because it was just marvelous. It is a bit windy location, so pack some warmer clothes for the evenings in the autumn, because you would like to sit there on the terrace and drink your wine and watch the ships in the port, no matter how cold it is (in fact it was about 18°C at nights, but with a bit of north wind, hoody and blanket helps). Hot tube was warm enough also at nights, but the temperature could be adjusted from the reception on demand (we didn´t need to). Christos and other staff were really helpful, recommended restaurants, sight-seeings, willing to help with anything. We arrived at 10 in the morning and as the room was not occupied, they allowed as to check-in so early and to enjoy our stay little longer. Also on check-out day, we were offered to stay a bit longer - to 11.30. Those small things that make you feel welcomed. Breakfasts on terrace were also just perfect. Broad selection, very tasty, almost no limits. Plus awesome views. Location is also great - Imerovigli is beautiful and not so overcrowded with tourists as Fira or Oia. It is also highest village on the island, so you really see everything. And it is very close to Fira, 30 min. walk. The hotel itself has a great location, not only stunning views, but also granted privacy. I can mostly speak for honeymoon suite - the terrace was quite isolated and hot tube hidden from any curious eyes. We were very happy with our choice and I hope to return some day.

Everything!! Beautiful location away from too busy Oia, but still near. Beautiful architecture- combining traditional elements and furniture with modern. We think we had the best room as we could see towards both sides, and the church nearby added extra special detail. The jacuzzi pool was fabulous, deep enough, temperature controlled from reception towards your liking. Very welcoming and helpful staff - we felt really taken care of! Delicious breakfast, you select what you want a day before. Cost rooms, with a snug area and mini-kitchen with a fridge. Hotel provides their own maps of the island and recommended great restaurant which was 10 minutes away (don’t underestimate the labyrinths of streets, plan more time to ge there) - Athenian house - fine dining which was outstanding! Our room was probably one of the most private one, but as everywhere in Santorini, you will be occasionally seen by other guests or tourists ( in case of our room tourists only could see us if we wanted to). It was amusing to observe tens of “flying dresses” photo shoots from our room :) entertainment on its own! Mini-market and pharmacy nearby, as well as restaurants. Easy to reach meeting point for pick-up for taxi/tours, drivers know the location well.

Wonderful people. The hotel is in the perfect location, spotlessly clean, and so accomodating. Arranged our transfers and adjusted due to late flights and boats without any problems. Breakfast on our sunny porch was hot, fresh, and delicious. Would stay forever haha!

The private jacuzzi pool doesn't get hot enough to use for long in the evenings, but was perfect for a dip in the afternoon. We still enjoyed it but had to adjust our expectations.

I can't say enough about this hotel. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the views, WOW!! The location in Imerovigli was great as it was a reasonable walk to Fira without the crowds, and there were several fabulous restaurants close by.

Amazing 😍 came for a getaway trip and the front desk staff especially... Sofia?( forgot her name :/) was great during the day and her partner at night was also exceptional. Sofia* particularly answered all of our questions. The views are beyond stunning. Must reserve a room in the future! They made our stay feel like the next class. The place we also stayed at was in the middle of everything. In comparison to staying in Oia or anywhere else, we definitely had the best* views. The pool was great. The Jacuzzi was great. Just everything was superb. Miss it already! The big burly man who carried our luggage up through those steps was great too! The restaurant/bistro downstairs was also so picturesque. Want to keep this hidden gem to myself, but I guess I can share :)

Lovely welcome, and all staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent. Amazing views from our terrace and the pool. The small bistro downstairs is a must do - we tried some excellent wine and was a peaceful spot to have a quiet dinner. Breakfasts delicious - delivered to the room to have in the terrace.
