Great value for money stay in Santorini. Close to the main hub of Fira, while also being far enough from the main touristic area. Nick was extremely friendly and helpful. Very approachable for any questions we had and gave great recommendations. Perfect for those who don't need to stay right on the cliff face

Shower area is small. Lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim. A decent climb up to the property which might not be the best for people with mobility issues.

The location in Firostefani was perfect - quieter than Fira, yet still accessible to all of the restaurants there as well as the bus terminal. Nick, Eva, and the cleaning staff were very welcoming and helpful. The suite had a small kitchen had we wanted to cook, though we did not. Wi-Fi was great. The suite had a sea view - not of the caldera, but I think that was better as we didn't have crowds wandering around. We would definitely stay again if returning to Santorini.

Santorini is expensive compared to Athens!!!

V comfortable large room. All amenities. Bed comfy. Host helpful. Room not on the caldera side, but can walk up the hill in 10 min and view the sunset and sea. Ours was a ground floor room and had no balcony to view the sunset.

Mrs Zara is a gem and really looked after us. Our room had plenty of space and the kitchenette was very handy. The room was serviced daily and was kept exceptionally clean. The location is great as you can easily walk to scenic locations for the sunset and to shops and restaurants.

it was very windy and the windows rattled (but picky, sorry) and we had to turn the noisy fridge off at night.

Good location for Thira, the sunset. cliff walk to Oia and the bus station at Thira to get to other sights. Really good value. everything you needed was provided and the room was spacious and very clean. Nick was helpful with restaurant: cafe suggestions - we went to two of them and they were very good.

We arrived late at night, so we were given good directions to find our room & how to access. There were some pastries & coffee in the suite for breakfast. Room was spacious, clean & comfy - nice comfy bed after weeks of hard beds. We had a huge deck with a view of the sea - not caldera view, but with all the wind on caldera side I was very happy to be away from that. Suites were right beside Fira to Oia path - such a nice fun walk! There was a small market close by for anything you needed, and lots of good restaurants close also. The host gave us a list of recommendations, and checked a few times to make sure things were good.

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay at Alonia Studios. The accommodation was very nice and clean and equipped with all the necessities. There was a balcony with a beautiful sea view. The location was amazing - only 5 min away from a bunch of great restaurants (including the 100-year-old Aktaion), and 10 minutes away from the main bus station. The hosts Nick and Eva were so kind and welcoming. In addition to making reservations for all restaurants we requested, they held our luggage on our last day and let us use the extra bathroom (with shower included). Highly recommend.

Maybe, because of the reviews here, expected more hospitality from our host Nick. He gave some recommendations, some of them was good, some not really (like Cafe Galini - you can’t make a reservation and they never have a good table with view, because they are also a Hotel and normally, their best tables are for their guests).

Nice and calm place, very clean. Near to the center of Fira and to the Bus station of Fira. Nice view to the east cost. Smooth communication with Eva and Nick, they also arranged transfer from the port to the studio before our arrival.

Step on the unit between kitchen and bedroom is unexpected, especially in the night. Treacherous. Maybe a ramp or a nightlight or change in textures. Someone could easily fall.

Nick was a great host. We enjoyed the location just a short walk to the touristy Fira. It was a pleasant area and there was a delicious reasonably priced restaurant down the road (Kookalo). The path is just steps away from the rooms and you can hike to Oia (1 hr 50 min).

we loved our stay at Alonia Studios, especially the warm welcome and the amazing recommendations from our host ! Beautiful sunrise on the balcony and max 5 min walk to the street by the cliff with amazing sunset views and a lot of good restaurants near by. We especially appreciated that our guest offered to keep our luggages and that we could use the extra bathroom (and that we were able to take a shower) after checking out before taking the plane.

The directions to the location - the directions told us to take a bus from Fira to Firostefani (that took us about an hour and a half as we had to wait 50 minutes at the bus station for the next bus). The bus station is just down the hill and we could have walked up the hill easily with our luggage. We would have appreciated information about both choices, but understand people with more/bigger luggage might prefer the suggested route.

We loved the size of the room and that there were doors/windows to open for moving air. The balcony was fantastic! We appreciated how clean and organized it was - sweet touches, but not too crowded. We loved how quiet the area was and the pedestrian walking path was so close by - easy to get coffee and food, but not too close to everyone else! The owners were helpful and kind. We enjoyed hearing the donkey bells and watching the donkeys go to work and home each day.
