Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Beside the fact that everything was spotless clean and tidy, the accommodation has a very organized support for the tourist, regarding the surroundings, transportation or whatever might need a tourist in Athens, regardless of its purpose, business or leisure. The host was also very friendly, supportive and careful answering to every request what so ever and did his best to make us felt like home. The area was very quiet and cozy, beds comfortable, kitchen ware and appliances were in an excellent condition and very clean.

The apartment was super cozy - all the lighting and details were super nice (one lamp did not work but there were three others so it was not a big deal :). There was nearly everything for a long family stay plates, pots, coffee ( please buy some tea but even without it was perfect), little snacks... There is also a beautiful cozy balcony and terras. Next time I am staying longer :).

Everything, but mostly the attentiveness of the hosts. Apartment is very well equipped and tidy. It is nice to find paper towels for the kitchen, cold water in the fridge, coffee, jam and even honey for your tea on the kitchen table ready for you, let alone the spices and other tiny things one may need during the stay. The hosts were always there for whatever question, but not intrusive at all - bravo! The bed was comfortable and soft, windows have shutters and mosquito nets, there is air-conditioning unit in the living room. As to the appliances - plenty: two coffee machines, kettle, micro wave, oven and some I probably did not spot :) Would definitely return if it will be available.

UkraineIt's a posh neighbourhood, but nice restaurants are 7-10 min walk away. Hoverer, if you're willing to take a short walk, you'll find a range of the best restaurants in the Athens for locals, not for tourists. Food is so amazing that I want to go back just to try that food again.
It's a huge house, plenty of space for everyone, and it also has a nice little garden. We and our kids enjoyed it. The house has everything you need on your trip. Pity we didn't stay here for longer, we've had a great time.

United Arab EmiratesThere can be bugs like ants or worms inside the house because of the garden on summer days. We had a situation with a huge number of ants on one of the living room windows. They entered the living room and the window was fully covered in them. We sprayed and with the assistance of the owner we closed that window, however on the next day a small number of them still managed to enter the house through that window.
Owner is responsive & communication is easy. House is spacious and comfortable with 2 bedrooms. Comfy beds. Lots of info organised in dossiers, about the city, tours, restaurant locations etc if you are a first timer in the area. Nicely decorated. Fully equipped. The garden is a plus. The neighbourhood is quiet and feels safe. About 25min from the airport.

The property was spacious and it catered to our needs in all aspects. They had even provided simple yet well-informed folders for visitors on what to do in Athens and also how to look after the property. It also was well located between Chalandri, Kiffisias and Neo Psychiko. It had many amenities within walking distance and we could park our rental car in front of the property’s assigned parking gate which helped as it’s located very close to a busy boulevard. The owners had very kindly thought of everything and they were polite, warm and friendly throughout our stay and during communications.

NetherlandsThe electric shutter to the front terrace was closed and broken so it could not be opened, reducing the amount of light entering the app. A building across the street is under renovation, but there was no work during the day we were there.
Spacious residential groundfloor appartment with parking on the street. In reality the app is a bit more dated than can be seen from the pictures, but the price and location for (in our case) departure purposes were perfect. The host lives in the app above and welcomed us in a functional and to the point way, recommending some restaurants to reserve in the area. We had early morning breakfast on the terrace in the front with the local cat.
