Loved everything!

This was an incredible experience right from the start. We were greeted by Alena. Asked what kind of eggs we would like the following morning and given a map of the area with recommendations on places to eat and things to see. Shown our exquisite room and given more tips on parking. The breakfast was delicious with so many incredible sides. Bread, honey, fruit, yogurt, cake.... the next morning we had to limit our selection to not waste anything for them! As we learned, the owner was serving us breakfast and the son was helping us with our travels. A fabulous experience!

Staff were excellent, particularly Akis. The room was lovely and very spacious. Shower was maybe a bit of a tight squeeze but flow was VIG. Breakfast was very good and the location perfect for our needs.

Not a problem for us but be aware there were quite a few stairs to our little eagle’s nest flat. Thankfully the stairs area was also air conditioned, so it was actually pleasant to walk up.

We were given a stunning room on top floor of Aetoma - the family home of the lovely woman who served us delicious breakfast each morning. There was a huge private balcony (cool enough to enjoy mornings or evenings), a king-sized bed that was extremely comfortable, and more food at breakfast than we could eat! The location is perfect, a five minute walk to any restaurant or activity. NOTE: In many properties in Greece, your key card placed in slot in your room is what activates all the electricity, so when you leave the room and take key card everything shuts off: air conditioning, phone chargers, etc. The room never quite cools down because temperature in August hovers near 100 degrees. This did NOT happen here…and it was WONDERFUL to come home to cool room and charged devices. A deal breaker! This was a totally pleasant experience and a great value. Thank you!

it was flawless

Everything in Aetoma exceeded our expectations! The historical building, situated in the center of the ancient city of Nafplio, was renovated to offer the best services, without losing its sophisticated venetian atmosphere; every detail was on point, from the decoration to the pressure of water to the air conditioning. Breakfast was superbe. Akis and his elegant mother were the best guests, offering the perfect mix of impeccable hospitality and Greek irony.

There really wasn't anything we did not like

Classically beautiful property in the heart of Old Nafplio. Very comfortable room with a nice balcony overlooking the street. Delicious breakfast across the street at their sister hotel. Staff gave us great recommendations during check-in. And also very helpful with our 2 requests: wine and flowers for our anniversary, and firmer pillows

Maybe parking but the public lots are a 5 minute walk and it wasn't a big deal to park there.

What can I say, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, probably the best as a solo guest. Firstly, incredible value for money! And I was a solo traveller, imagine for a couple! An intimate, stylish and comfortable experience. I felt valued from the moment I arrived. Elena greeted me and went through all the things to do and see and places to eat on a map for me. The room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking a local courtyard. The breakfast… amazing! And so generous. A memorable experience. All the staff were equally friendly too. I wish this place years more of success!

Lovely hotel, in a lovely location, right in the centre of Nafplio. Fantastic breakfast. Very helpful host - gave lots of advice on what to see in and around Nafplio, and how to get to our next destination (Monemvasia).
