Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesBreakfast was a very nice layout. They say breakfast at 7 and though mean it, not a minute earlier. It worth the wait. Breakfast at the motel is better than going into town for breakfast. The walk to town is easy from the hotel, and it’s nice being out of the hubbub because you can leave your window wide open during the night and it’s very quiet. The only thing to be aware of is there is no elevator, and there are three floors. So be prepared to carry up the stairs. We didn’t mind at all because once upstairs (3rd floor) the view is great and there’s a nice deck also.

SwitzerlandNot only is the Adriani Hotel a charming and well situated building itself, but the owners and all the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming towards their guests. The self made breakfast exceeds all expectations and all in all its a wonderful place to spend your time on the island. The staff are very helpful and will answer all questions and not only the necessary but beyond. We enjoyed our stay very much and I would return to that hotel if I ever go back to Naxos.

United StatesAdriani Hotel is a lovely small hotel, beautifully maintained and quiet, located within easy walking distance of the bustling port and its many shops and restaurants. The owners, Michaelis and Irini are perfect hosts offering helpful Naxos information and insights. George, afternoon and evening front desk person, also provides great advice. What totally separates the Adriani from most other medium priced hotels is the amazing breakfast buffet they offer - a generous array of homemade savory pies and egg dishes as well as a sweets table that will make you swoon (and break every diet!). It’s the perfect oasis.

Switzerlandif you get a room with twin beds, they are on wheels that would constantly move around. our room was facing the street, we didn’t mind though.
The Hotel is very well situated in Chora only a short walk from the more pulsating centre and grotta beach. Parking was always available either directly in front of the hotel or at a public parking area just a few houses up the street. The hosts are very friendly and help you out with any questions you might have and give tips to explore the island. If you decide to take a cab from the airport bring euros in cash as the cabbies don’t accept cards. The room itself was as advertised with a nice patio (ours was on the ground floor).

Location was great, walking distance from the center of Naxos and the Castle but still in an area where we were able to park our car near by. The room was very comfortable, quiet and cool with a perfectly adjustable AC system, nicely appointed and bright. Everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was great, with fantastic choice of both savory and sweet foods, fresh fruit, juices and of course excellent yogurt. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, it's a family run business and you can tell they care about their guests. For example, if you couldn't fit the beach towels in your already full suitcase, no worries; every morning in the lobby there is a basket full of fresh beach towels for the guests to take, and you just drop them there in the same basket at night when you come back. How nice and convenient is that? They also offer transfer from/to airport and port, and other services like car rental, and are very helpful with anything the guests may need.

United StatesThe Adriani Hotel was a charming property in a convenient location with a phenomenal breakfast! I booked 4 rooms for our 1-night stay, 2 doubles and 2 singles. All of the rooms were on the first floor and each had it's own patio space. The hotel is situated within walking distance to the old town, the port (although Adriani will pick you up for just a few euros per room), shops and restaurants, and the Temple of Apollo. In addition, the breakfast was delicious! It was a buffet of home cooked savory and sweet dishes and we ate until we were stuffed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, however, there were a couple of drawbacks. While the majority of the staff were friendly, the male owner was not. He was gruff with our group and even yelled at another guest for "slamming the door" when she let it close behind her. Also, there were no blankets in the rooms and by the time we realized this, the front desk was already shut down for the night. If we left the air conditioning on, we were freezing, but without it, we were sweating. Be sure to ask for a blanket at check-in if a sheet will not suffice for you! I will also mention that our double room had two single beds pushed together. I know this is common in Europe, but my friends who stayed in the single rooms had full-sized beds. Between that and the blanket situation, my husband and I didn't sleep so well.

Very clean, comfortable hotel room. Everyday was cleaning service, and every second day they were changing the towels which were soft. Breakfast was simply outstanding, few minutes walk to the bus stop and to the port, on the way back from the beach, the bus drop us almost in front of the hotel. I highly recommend when visiting Naxos.

The staff were lovely and offered lots of advice on where to visit on the island. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short 10/15 minute walk to the centre and the port.
