It was a nice room and hotel. But I would definitely check the island map so you know exactly where this hotel is on Santorini. It's not good or bad, but it is a little far from the more tourist centers of Fira and Oia.

Literally everything about the property was excellent. We stayed in the loft suite with a gorgeous view of the caldera and the sea. The suite had three main view points, the balcony on the ground floor, the large viewing window on the first floor facing the beds (the first thing you see when you wake up is the azure ocean and caldera), and the large terrace on the first floor with the private pool at the edge giving the impression of an infinity pool. The pool is not heated, but the manager mentioned that they are considering adding this feature which would make the experience even better especially during May, when the water temperature is slightly chilly. The second thing I’d like to highlight is the hotel staff. I have seldom seen such amazing staff from the reception to restaurant to housekeeping. In particular, the lady at the front desk (Kate) stands out! She was fabulous, arranged for a private yacht tour as well as an island tour, both of which turned out to be lovely! She was accommodating, and arranged for an early checkin and late checkout, and even packed the complementary wine from the room that we hadn’t tried. The restaurant had a very good breakfast. They can perhaps do a bit more on the seafood side for lunch and dinner menus, but nothing to complain about in particular. The food, overall, was good and we ate several times during the course of our stay. Santorini is too beautiful to see just once in your lifetime, so when I come back the next time, I’ll, for sure, choose Akrotiri over the crowded Oia or Fira, and this property again!

It would have been nice to have tea and Coffee making facilities in the room.

Suite was superb, great views, spotlessly clean. The location, away from the business of the main towns was perfect, but still had a number of good restaurants close by within easy walking distance. The staff were exceptional.

Breakfast was incredible, but too much food. a buffet where you take take only what you're going to eat, maybe be a better option. Its great to be served, but if you want a little bit of everything, when you order, it's all too much. Staff were so lovely, friendly and welcoming.

Well this ones on us...we didnt know that there was a free breakfast everyday. I mean when we found out- we ate everything they served. So much food and so much fun

The location was by far the best....we never had to take a taxi to eat or shop. It was all within walking distance. The pool was stunning! The gym was amazing...we will be back!

Not really an issue to be honest, but I'd recommend renting a scooter or a car as the property is a bit far from Fira and Oia.

Spacious and quiet room. Staff was amazing, very helpful and always smiling. Swimming pool is big and really well maintained. Breakfast is out of this world, huge selection and delicious. Everything is done so that you can relax and enjoy the stay. Akrotiri village which has some really nice restaurants is a 5mins walk.

Amazing staff (Kate, Nektarios, George, Katerina, Julio, Kostas, Nasos, Daria, Vaggos, Stathis & Andreas) - extremely hospitable and helpful whenever required. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our entire stay. Incredible breakfast included, food is all made to order and there is an extremely wide selection of options. Very relaxing location, away from the noises and crowds of Oia and Thira, but still close enough to easily reach there for day trips.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing, from reception, to the bar, the chefs, and the dining room team. We went for a chilled holiday and we got that. The breakfast was awesome, the best we have had on our travels. Lunch and dinner were also amazing. The spa is fabulous. Billy is a great masseur. I would highly recommend him. Had a mini facial and body scrub and felt like a new woman.

the shower design seems a little flawed. If the hand-held shower is pointing in the wrong direction when you turn the shower on it sprays all over the place. in general, the bathroom floor gets very wet.

we loved the contemporary airy simplicity of the decor. loved how much space. and very comfortable. VERY luxurious. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Katarina and Nick were especially professional , always available and very kind and helpful. The breakfasts and breakfast staff were amazing!! And the pool is beautiful! Loved everything about Acroterra Rosa!

Nothing. These people bent over backward for us and made it hard for us to want to leave. Two weeks of paradise during our 20th Anniversary. Hint: the resort is 20 minutes or so from Fira and 35 minutes from Oia so if you are staying here your experience will be enhanced by renting a car or ATV. We had a VW convertible. The driving along the Aegean coastline was as enjoyable as our drives along Pacific Coast Highway near Big Sur when we lived in CA.

We are vegan. We have lived in Northern California and Toronto, both of which are excellent places to be vegan. Best vegan breakfast we ever had was at Acrotera, which is not even a vegan-specific resort, but rather one that cares deeply about its guest experiences... Personal, intimate service, upgraded room balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea. Insanely large comfortable beds (I'm 6'6" and my wife is very tall). What could be better?! Did I mention some of the best coffee I had was at Acrotera?
