Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Excellent hotel. Superb location. Good view over Kamari, at the same time close to Kamari and the beach if you don’t mind walking a bit (10-15 minutes to go to the beach). The owner is very nice, understanding and helpful, he makes you feel comfortable. He even helped us with transfer to port two days after check-out. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.

SwedenThe only thing we experienced that was somewhat of a problem, was the uphill road that took us to the hotel. The hotel is really beautiful with an exceptional view, But you definitely need a good car: preferably automatic to be safe and secure + there is not enough parking spaces close to the hotel.

Everything was perfect! The most kindest people i’ve ever seen! I really recomand Acropole Sunrise! - Even if the property is on a hill is very Close to Kamari beatch and all the restaurants in the area - the clean service was very good and made daily - excelent breakfast (it can be served inside or outside where is a nice view) - the host tries to make you to fell like home, no matter what you ask, he helps you! 10/10 for the entire experience!

The location is wonderfully secluded, providing peace and tranquility without any noise from the bustling areas below and 15 minutes walk from Kamari beach. The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Petros and Stamatis were exceptional hosts, treating us like family from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. Ekaterina, the talented cook, prepared delightful breakfast specialties each morning that were both delicious and creative. The breakfast each morning, overlooking the island, was spectacular. The room was so clean and perfect for our stay. Kamari beach was a short walk from the hotel. ChinaThe hotel was wonderful! With excellent interior designs and extremely organised and comfortable rooms. Pedro really helped us out during the stay and gave the best recommendations on activities to do in Santorini. We went on one of the daily cruises he recommended and had the best time. All the staff are kind and helpful, Kamari is also a beautiful town with wonderful bars and restaurants. Would recommend renting a car on arrival because it is on a quit steep hill. The hotel is also very close to the open-air cinemas, a nice place to enjoy a night out to watch the movies under the starlight. It is also very close to the bus station and very convenient to go to Thira, buses every 20 minutes. Honestly had the best time there, would definitely comeback
