Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing to not like about. Everything was perfect. When we went the wind was strong so the hotel provided us with shelter and calmness. Could not have asked for more.
The host Marina was a gem, we landed at Absolute Paradise at 4am and she was there to greet us and show us to the room. The breakfast was delivered nice and fresh every morning at your desired time in the balcony overlooking the sea. It was such a tranquil place away from the tourist traps and noise, we had a very relaxing time.

SlovakiaThe mattress was too soft, does not support a spine, and it felt like there is a hole in the middle of it and we need to climb out of it every morning. I know the softness is a thing of preference, I don´t like hard planks either, but it is bad when one feels sore in the morning. And maybe just one more point for improvement: drinks in bar are too pricey for the location, we had much cheaper on the beach or in restaurants in central Fira or Oia. Snacks´ prices were reasonable though. Otherwise we were very satisfied with everything.
The property lies in the middle of nothing :), but we have looked it in the map before booking and knew about the fact and appreciated peacefulness and isolation. The views are beautiful. I recommend to rent a car and this hotel is a good basement for trips to Akrotiri, beaches and basically anywhere, when you have a car. Not quite a resort for spending all days there.... The hotel is quite new, clean, luxury, people helpful. We had a hot tube on the terrace (we could regulate temperature ourselves, unlike I read in reviews for other hotels) and used it every evening, also in colder and windy weather. Breakfast were very very nice, wide selection and almost no limitations. And very tasteful. We had packed minibar at our welcome (soft drinks, beer, prosecco, shots) and this invite package was for free, that was pleasant surprise. There is also a swimming pool, but we did not try it, the water was a bit cold (October), but I saw other guests in there.

RomaniaMaybe it is just a personal preference, but matresses are very soft. You feel like sinking in them. We prefer medium or harder ones to sleep well.
Excellent amenities and quality of services. It is true that location is a little bit remote from main cities. However, the island is rather small and in max 50 min you can reach by car the other end of the island - Oia. A car is mandatory if you want to have flexi ility and move faster. The location offers splendid sunsets and view towards caldera and the island. The tranquility offers recharging opportunities after crowd bathing in the caldera touristic villages. Sunset at the lighthouse is very romantic. Nearby, the ancient village of Akrotiri is a stunning experience if you are passionate about history and how people used to live 4 thousands years ago and combine it with a visit to the archaeological museum in Fira. Several nice beaches around, including the famous ones, and quite fast access to traditional villages. Personally we liked Pyrgos village more than the others, probably because is also larger and has more to offer. Also Monolytes beach has a very fine black sand and is nice for swimming, although more remote (near airport) than the others. Very tailored breakfast, from composition, location and hour of service. Also quite tasty. Rooms are large, high quality furnished and minibar is included in the price; toiletries are high quality -Apivita. Congratulations to the owners for transforming an empty piece of land into a real oasis. Thanks to Irini and her team for contributing to a successful start of our 4 days Santorini vacation.

United StatesYou can’t flush toilet paper. But that is typical for every place on this island
I looked at several prior to booking this property. I kept coming back to it due to the consistent reviews of the staff and their efforts to make your stay the best it can be and enjoyable. Thank you to all previous reviewers as they were spot on ! Irene and her staff really go out of their way to make your experience the best. They were fabulous and enjoyable to work with. The location at the souther tip is the best. We spend time in both Fira and Oia and we’re so thankful we chose this property and it southern location. The best word that would describe it is tranquil. Away from the hustle and bustle but easy to access the entire island’s offerings. I would highly renting a car for your trip. Ample parking right right at the front door of the property. It’s double gated and our safety was never a concern during our visit. Their breakfast is amazing each day. The room refrigerator is stocked with drinks. The views from the rooms , pool, and fire pit were incredible. No need to go to the crowded cities as you are in solitude watching the magnificent sun sets right from this property. I can’t say enough about this place and if we do revisit - it’s a “No brainer” that we would choose this property again.

United KingdomHaving to leave to fly back home!
Absolute Paradise lives up to its name! You will not regret staying here! Irini, the Manager and her Team including Dalibor, look after you incredibly, whilst bringing a huge smile and plenty of laughter to you during your stay! I cannot praise them enough for all their hard work and expertise! We are in awe and love with the location. A very private, secluded location with outstanding views! Especially for sunsets without crowds! A wonderful getaway if your looking to get away from the hustle of Oia and Fira. We would highly recommend staying here if you are after a peaceful, inclusive and luxurious getaway! You will ideally need to rent a car/scooter/ATV if your staying here for ease of movement. The cocktails were the best (we recommend trying the "Dali-Mama") and of course it would be a sin not to try the food either - TOP QUALITY! The room we stayed it was perfect. Loads of storage space. Very comfortable bed!! Beautifully furnished. Cleaned on a daily basis. Full mini fridge to your disposal. Huge walk in shower! Fantastic room over all! We stayed on the ground floor. The infinity pool is a huge bonus! Large enough to swim in comfortably and relax in the shallow part as well. We could easily spend the day relaxing at the pool and enjoy ourselves. Overall, we cannot sing enough praise to Irini and her Team and we would stay here again without a doubt! Highly recommend Absolute Paradise! You will not regret! Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality! We miss you already and cannot wait to see you again!

SingaporeI hated having to leave. I am already planning my trip back. Other than that, there was nothing to dislike. Absolutely nothing. Perfection.
If I could give Absolute Paradise 20 out of 10, I would. I loved my stay. Irini (the Manager) and her team treated me like family and were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location is spectacular - watching the sun set into the sea was my favourite part of the day. It's a really tranquil location, and so relaxing. The pool was amazing, with plenty of super-comfortable sunbeds. My room was calming and well appointed, and it was kept spotless. The outside areas were also super clean and well maintained. As well as beautiful views and surrounds. Food was great - lots of choice. I loved being able to choose my breakfast from a long list of good quality and great variety items, and it arriving on my terrace at the asked for time. And lunches / dinners were fantastic. You probably need a car / buggy for this location, but that also means you are away from the hustle of the main tourist drags, and nowhere is more than a short drive away, so it was great to be able to explore from here. Just amazing. Loved everything about my week long stay here.

CanadaPool was lovely but there was green algae on the walls. Maybe there was something wrong with the cleaning system when we were there..not sure.
We specifically chose this location to be away from the noisy hubbub of Santorini and it was lovely! It was truly a paradise and we enjoyed it very much. Definitely a location for romantic dinners (weddings, engagements, re-discovering each other in one's marriage! etc...). as the staff were very accommodating and sensitive. Easy to access all parts of Santorini with a car rental or quad (I loved having a quad to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine...and find easier parking!...need a minimum of 450 cc). We visited Oia early in the morning (i.e. 7 or 8am) in order to avoid the onslaught of tourists from the visiting cruise ships. Had a wonderful dinner at the Lava taverna (Perivolos beach, Perissa). I loved this place. Very basic, but holy crumb, the food was grrrreat and being right on the beach was fantastic!)

Let's start with the view. As soon as I stepped onto the hotel grounds, I was mesmerized by the panoramic vistas of the Aegean Sea and the iconic Santorini Caldera. The sight of the sun setting over the horizon was nothing short of magical. Whether I was relaxing by the pool, enjoying a meal at the restaurant, or unwinding in my luxurious room, the view was always there, constantly reminding me of the absolute paradise I was fortunate enough to be in. Speaking of the crew, I cannot praise them enough for their exceptional hospitality. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel like a valued guest. They were always attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was perfect. Now, let's talk about the food. The Absolute Paradise Hotel boasts a 5-star restaurant with an extraordinary Chef and Manager, Irini.

FinlandSome minor thoughts about the Junior Suite, to make the stay 10/10. The layout of the room was interesting. -It was a bit windier during our stay, so we couldn't use the table groups and chairs by the balcony that much. Therefore, we could have used some more table space and chairs inside the room. -Only place to store your clothes was the closet. We could have used some more convenient racks, where to hang your jackets, towels, bath robe etc. -Balcony: It would be more convenient, if there were some sun shade available - all the other rooms have a pergola or similar. Also, the balcony is big enough to have sun beds, but now there are two table groups. Sun beds are located by the pool. Minibar -No automatic refills: From our perspective, at least, it would have been nice to have new water bottles during our stay. Voices from the corridor comes through the door, but there was no traffic during our stay, so it didn't disturb us.
The breakfast was very comprehensive, it had to be ordered the night before. The outdoor jacuzzi was heated and it was very practical in May when the evenings are a bit cooler. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Minibar was included in the room price. I warmly recommend to try Pina Coladas from the bar 10/10! Balcony was huge, and the view was great.

Beautiful spot with amazing views. New, tastefuly designed boutique-style hotel offering all the comforts you may expect, spacious room, breakfast served in privacy of your room, great mini bar, magificent swimming pool and amazing service. It's totally opposite experience to huge, all-inclusive resorts with thousands of quests with kids. If you like exclusive and secluded retreats, that's the place to go. We were delighted by the quality of service, great ambient music in the evenings, silence, especially at the pool (no kids shouting around) as well as fresh and tasty food. Overall it was the best experience during our stay on Santorini.
