One of the main reasons why we booked the place was that we thought we would have the sea view of the caldera side and volcano which are located on the west side of the island. In the description of the hotel and its attractions it stated caldera, which we understood to mean caldera / volcano view. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we realized that even though the hotel was located close to the caldera, its front was turned to the east (opposite) side of the island. Thus, we could see Oia’s village and the main city but not the caldera or volcano as we expected.

The service was exceptional. We really appreciate everyone who helped us. Everything super clean, service fast and friendly. We got great recommendations from the staff, and we enjoyed our breakfast. The hotel had free parking and it was very close to Oia.

The staff were incredibly helpful with local recommendations. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and the complimentary breakfast was a great perk. The sunset view from the pool was absolutely breathtaking. We felt pampered and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The location was just outside the famous views of Oia. Close enough to walk, but far enough away to be relaxed and serene. It had a beautiful view of the city. The service was absolutely world class

The private pool seems a bit dirty over time. I suspect there was no no circulatory system in the pool which was not so hygienic.

Staff very nice and supportive. Room clean and beautiful. Nice pool and beautiful sunset viewing. Have a lovely restaurant right across the street that serve delicious western dishes. Love the location and everything.

The hill that you need to walk every time to get to the room.

We loved the view. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. They were very attentive, the room had bread, fruits, water, coffee and also a bottle of wine (all included)!

The villa and it’s hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. We traveled with our 2 kids (7 and 5) and they were treated incredibly well by everyone, including giving them toys for the pool. Room was perfect in every way, as was the amazing view of the sunset from our terrace. Couldn’t possibly recommend it enough.

There was cleaning service every day who were efficient and friendly. There was fresh juice and other breakfast items provided every day. The hosts provided everything that we needed and asked for. They were exceptional!

The kitchenette was well-stocked with various breakfast items and beverages each morning, and the two bottles of wine were excellent local wines. We were given an upgraded villa upon arrival with unbelievable sunset views from the swimming pool and hot tub. The housekeeping staff had our villa spotless each day, and the front desk staff, Naya and Dani, were extremely helpful with car pickups, dinner reservations, and island recommendations. They went above and beyond!

No complaints from us, we had a wonderful stay. I didn’t realise there was no caldera view - but the view we did have was beautiful so it wasn’t too problematic.

A lovely spot near Oia, we had a delightful stay. It was a really great set up for our family of 4.

The master bath's paint especially around the shower area could use some touchup and cleanup.

Beautiful location that is quiet but only 20 minutes away from the highly desirable village of Oia. The views from this property overlook Oia and have better sunset views than the crowded narrow streets of Oia.

The Villa was amazing just outside of Oia. do it was quiet and had some lovely restaurants near by. both Nayia and Kate were sensational! they recommended and booked restaurants, car hire, boat trips and bought a cake champagne and balloons for my daughters birthday! amazing❤️ can’t recommend them highly enough.

The service was amazing and the Villa was beautiful, clean and cozy. Location was also very good and convenient. Anything we need they provide it in a second. Kate and Nayia at the reception were amazing, all the time happy and extremely helpful. also the rest of the staff they have there are very nice and ready to help you!!!

It is on a hill, so you have to be pretty fit to get up to your room if staying in Cave house VII! The view across to Oia (which is amazing) is spoilt a little by the electrical cables that go up the mountain.

Greeted on arrival. Shown to room, bags brought up to us. The pool is really cool. The room is huge and kept immaculately clean, daily. It's also in the mountain, the architecture of the whole place has been designed to blend into the natural habitat. The supply of bottled water, bread & other snacks was topped up every day. We felt as though the staff couldn't do enough for us.

The pool was too cold to really use much and as we paid such a high price mainly to use the pool, I feel investing in some heating would make the value much better.

The staff were very welcoming. The hotel is a 15 min walk along the cliff into Oia with staggering views along the way. Unfortunately, you do not get a full Caldera view as the hotel is located just out of view on the other side. I found this a bit disappointing, however, you do have a panoramic view of the sea so still a great view. There is a great taverna with live music a short walk away.

If you love to stay in a nice clean villa with an outstanding reception service and within 15 minutes walk of Oia, then we warmly recommend Oia 270. In particular, the Oia 270 team made excellent recommendations and various arrangements for us (boat, restaurant, car rent, ... reservation) which clearly made the difference !
