“A lovely quiet apartment with a kitchen that had everything I needed. The balcony was a wonderful place to sit and relax. It was quite breezy during my stay, and I had the balcony doors open all the time, so I can't comment on the AC. (Dont open the front door while the balcony doors are open, as the through draft will slam them). You have to take care in the shower as the curtain doesn't completely enclose you, but there is plenty of hot water.
The location is about a 10-minute walk from the port, although I was picked up by car. It's a 15-minute walk to Katsadia beach. Aggeliki and her husband are lovely, welcoming people, and although they don't speak English, their grandson/daughter is available via phone and responds immediately.
I would have no hesitation in staying here again.”
“We checked in at the hotel by the port and followed the owner in our rental car to the apartments, which are only a 5-10 minute walk from the harbor.
We absolutely LOVED this place. There are five spacious apartments that, while a bit dated, are impeccably clean and offer excellent value at around £39 a night in June!
We appreciated the setup where each apartment is accessed from a shared walkway, with each room having its own set of tables and chairs and a private terrace at the back with sea and village views. This arrangement allowed us to enjoy both morning and afternoon sun or shade, depending on where we chose to sit.
Unlike many Greek properties where the showers can be a disappointment, this one was powerful and hot! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. We loved that it was just a five-minute walk into town yet situated in a peaceful and quiet area (though Lipsi is never really loud!).”

“Lovely traditional apartment in the countryside, about ten minutes' easy walk from the town. The view from our large balcony was of the sea and fields, and it was so peaceful, with only the sound of goat bells and a cockerel breaking the silence occasionally.
Everything was wonderful, but the main highlight to us were our Greek hosts, who were very welcoming and made us feel like we were sharing their home. They were very generous with lifts from/to the port, as well as many extra gifts of homegrown food and drink. We speak very little Greek, and they speak very little English, but despite this we felt like family.
We would definitely return here on our next visit to this beautiful island.”

The large, bright, apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the view from the balcony, overlooking the bay with the small town, the harbour, the ferry port, and further out to sea, all visible, was fantastic.
From the apartment it's only a few minutes walk along the (very new!) quay to several cafes, bars and good fish restaurants.
Lispi, in the month of May, at least, is a quiet, unspoilt island, and definitely worth a visit.”
