Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

First, I was placed in the wrong apartment; which caused me to alter my plans, so that I could pay *wronged" apartment owner. I Paid for their mistake!! On site manager. Fatou never apologized, and felt it was necessary to interrupt my Sunday dinner with verbal nonsense. I told her she would get paid. WHICH I DID.. EVEN in that apartment, we did not have air conditioning, television, Nor internet - again she did not offer a reduce rate, for my inconvenience.. I"m The Guest..!!! Once sorted, the Right apartment required me to pay for Electricity.. That is absolutely ridiculous @!! After first day in right apartment, I found myself purchasing electricity in a foreign country.. Wow@, I would have never chosen an apartment where I have to purchase electricity for a 4 day stay!!!! Finally, after checkout I receive a text from Right owner Donovan, saying wrong apartment owner has not been paid... Really... Good thing I recorded all money transactions. Why was he fishing?.? He did not own wrong apartment!!!!

The apartment is really close to the ocean and has a nice view of it Well equipped(including even a washing machine),the size of the apartment is about 70sqm

NigeriaThe housekeeping. I'm widely travelled and love self-catering or apartments and Air B n Bs. For the first time in my life, I sensed that for some reason, the female cleaning staff weren't happy the guest was female and, African. They came once and never came back again to clean on the pretense 'she was sick " even when they were two. The Facility Manager bought this excuse but didn't send a relief, not even to take out the trash. I I stayed 6 days without the apartment being cleaned or the bins trashed or removed. I had seen the disappointment on the faces of the two cleaning ladies when they came in and saw me and regardless of how nice I was or tried to engage them, I made a point to pass this observation to the Manager when she kept passing their excuse to me. I told her to spare a though for the person who invested in the beautiful property but moral station was all I could do.
Like? I LOVED the location, apartment, view from the apartment and mostly, the amenities. I love making my own meals and everything I needed was there. I'm a woman and, it was as if I was in my own kitchen.

United StatesThe local host was impossible to connect with, even though they wanted payment IN CASH. It wasn't until our last night at 10pm they managed to find the time to meet us. They also didn't communicate at all that we had a max electricity usage, until the power shut off and they demanded more money if we wanted to turn it on. It wasn't really at the beach. There were no workout facilities as they had indicated on the site. It was impossible to share a room with someone, as the bathroom facilities are completely open to the room. The local Gambian colleagues we were with were appalled at the lack of professionalism we experiences there, as well as how much we were charged for this site verses other options nearby. Getting the amount of money needed in cash was also extremely frustrating as the local ATMs (if they are even working) hardly give out anywhere near the funds needed to complete payment. Please consider going somewhere that is a real business that is much easier to deal with.

GermanyThe problem was the owner. At first when i booked the appartment he wanted 100 Pounds in Advance because he said that the people cancel so often their reservation . Fair enough, so i did. First problem was, he didnt answer to my questions again, only as i said i would cancel the reservation if he will not answer. Than one day before i arrived and couldnt cancel the reservation he wrote me, that i have to pay extra for the electricity, what means that you have to go to a petrol station and buy a receipt with a number ( he never said a word about it before and maybe thats a litle bit too complicated for people who have never been to Africa before). After he told me there is a late check inn fee for people who are coming at night or in the late evening. But best thing was, that on the second day electricity was cut off completely ( yes, even fridge and air con) and the Manager ( Sophie ) told us that she will come the next day...( imagine things in fridge and yourself without air con after 20 hours). So everyone wondered why there was no electricity, but there was an easy reason for it. The management told us that the owner (donovan) didnt pay his bills and thats why they cut off everything ( they tried to call the owner and told him before). Thanks for the information. ( By the way the only time Donovan answered very quickly and very often was when he asked me if i transferred the money). So we spend the whole holidays by asking someone something, trying to fix something, waiting for someone to come or to answer. Definitely not possible to recommend this special appartment. I had another one in the same complex and there everything was perfect, especially the owners Malin and frederik.
Appartment was very nice and clean, very good located with a great pool and pretty near to the beach. Maybe the kitchen needs some more equipment but it was okay for one week holiday.

United StatesAfter 10 pm there was no electricity and as such no air conditioning or possibility to charge cell phones, batteries, etc. While the administrator and the owner were certainly nice enough, they failed to tell me (until after the stay) that apparently the person at the gate could have done something to get the lights back on. It was very, very hot and uncomfortable.
