Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesThere is no elevator so it might be difficult to go upstairs if you have big luggages. Walls and the mattresses had stains on them. Breakfast is mostly dairy and eggs. No meat. I wish they have other selections as well. Other than those, everything is so nice.
The place is very close to the tourist attractions like the Rike Park, Bridge of Peace, Leaning Clock Tower, and other more. It’s just 5 mins walk from Bridge of Peace and around it are several restaurants, cafes, bars, and groceries around. The place is worth paying for.

RussiaThe rooms we got first had window to the internal corridor that made it quite dark, later they shifted us to better rooms facing the street with a nice view. The breakfast starts at 9 and they could not shift it if you have an early checkout.
The location is perfect in the middle of the old city, walking distance to the main attractions, the river and the lovely streets with bars and cafes. The staff was friendly and ready to help. The room was quite big and the facilities were ok. I liked the breakfast. Parking is manageable in the streets.

FinlandWe booked last minute when another hotel cancelled our stay, and it came out even better than the original plan. Perfect location, very silent, but close to everything. Very clean and room service was done as in the 5 star hotel during the stay. Special shout out to Andrew, who handled the situation with noisy guests above one of our rooms very professionally. It was absolutely worth more than we paid, very recommended!

AustriaWe enjoyed our stay very much and would come again. Two points that others may criticize: 1, no elevator - you have to carry your luggage up to 1st or 2nd floor if you don't have the ground floor rooms. Also, the reception is in the basement, so when you arrive you have to bring everything downstairs for checking in (or leave unattended on ground floor). 2, staff very friendly and helpful but I would not book a taxi again there, was heavily overpriced.
Great location close (few minutes by foot) to main sights in old town in very quiet residential area; nicely designed hotel and rooms with colourful artwork in breakfast area; we especially liked the furniture in our room and bathroom, selected with a good taste and not just some cheap stuff. Breakfast was very good (no meat products though), included cheese, eggs, salads, cakes, cereals and varied from day to day.

United Arab EmiratesThey would do with better WiFi. Also would highly recommend a Hand Spray/Shattaf for the toilet.
The highlight for the hotel was it’s location which was just a 3-6 mins walk to all the major landmarks like Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, Old town Tbilisi, Liberty square etc. There are tons of restaurants to choose from as well. We had a nice room with a separate room in it for the children and it was cozy and comfortable for a family of 4. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. I also liked that they had Netflix and YouTube on the television so there were plenty of options to watch when you want to relax at the hotel. The Breakfast was ok with a choice of fried eggs / Omelettes) along with pan cakes and some bakery items.

EstoniaA perfect place to stay for a city trip visit. The location is very good - a lot of eating places and sightseeings nearby. The place was clean, spacious, safe and family friendly, good bathrooms and quality furniture. Breakfast was good, although not very variable. The location was quiet enough - no street nor city noise.
