The lock of the bathroom door was installed the wrong way. I would suggest to have some sunbeds near the pool.

Very nice house in the forest, the views are great. You can have nice dinner at the location, and the breakfast is incredible too. Nice that there is a pool, although it is a bit cold (not too much sun there).

Wow.. gorgeous scenery.. beautiful view.. very quiet and peaceful. The stuff is very nice. The breakfast was great. We used the sauna for an extra charge, it was great, right next to the pool.

The AC in the room was a bit small, took us a few hours to bring the temperature in the room down. We gave a shot for dinner in the restaurant, however we were quite dissapointed with the order and cancelled the breakfast therefore, not willing to risk it.

The location is just wonderful for a quick getaway, the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and equipped with the basics you might need. Be ready to climb up a little bit for the facilities.

Small but comfortable houses with great view on the river in a quiet and peaceful place. Absolutely delicious breakfast! There is a place to sit together with friends on the terrace of the restaurant.

Everything was perfect!

Porto Gumati is a great getaway from the city. Just 15 minutes from Kutaisi but tucked away in the hills with a magnificent lake view, Porto Gumati is the perfect place to get back to nature. The rooms are private and cozy equipped with everything you need for a weekend escape. The staff are very warm and welcoming, and the owner is also nearby to help with anything. The service is impeccable! The food and atmosphere at the restaurant is amazing. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner; definitely some of the best food we've had in Georgia. Highly recommended!

The room lacked some basic conveniences. There wasn't enough storage space for clothes, with no cabinets or hanging racks. Additionally, the bed seemed small for a couple, likely around a double size (1.40 cm), and there were no side tables.

If you're seeking a relaxing escape surrounded by nature, Porto Gumati is an excellent choice. The beautiful lake views. halal options on the menu are limited, but the chef was great! They helped us out and made some really delicious food.

A bit difficult for taxis to find.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A very nice place to escape the hassle of the city in the middle of nature. Very easy to see some countryside. The owner took me to city, which is only 10 minutes away.

Totally loved the stay and hospitality. Everything was above the standard. The owner himself received us and greeted very warmly. Breakfast was superb and very refreshing. Communication and the hospitality of the staff is amazing. Its really a place to spend vacation of months.

Not only Porto Gumati exceeds all of one's expectations upon arrival, but once you're already there, you can sense how well-thought, carefully-crafted and guest-oriented each and every detail of the resort actually is. The views are simply mesmerizing, the rooms are cozy, the food is world class (we even had a lovely dinner while there) the staff is friendly/professional and you don't really need to be lucky to meet the owner - Mr. Irakli - who's physically present there most of the time to attend the guests' needs.

I wish they had more activities and events. Felt like we were the only ones there and there was not enough to do within the area itself. They could also organize tours to common places in Kutaisi.

Location is beautiful, in nature, yet close to the city. The cabins are superb! Love the all natural wood look. Loved sitting in the balcony in the morning with a coffee high up with the trees.

Drinking water in the room is limited, You need to purchase water from town which is 20 mins taxi drive. Be vary, taxis often do not come to Porto Gumathi. Carry a lot of water when you stay.
