We originally only wanted to spend 2 nights at Betlemi, but ended up spending 5, which we owe to the flexibility of our great host Natalia. She is a very good and courteous host who not only looks after the physical well-being of her guests at breakfast time, but also has some very tasty wines in her range. The fantastic roof terrace overlooking the old town of Tbilisi is the perfect place for a cozy wine hour. You won't find a continental breakfast here, but that's not necessary. Instead, Natalia serves different delicious, freshly prepared Georgian dishes for breakfast every morning. Natalia always has an open ear for her guests' questions and concerns and always tries to find a solution, if necessary with the help of her community.

The way it was position uphill but everything was excellent.

The hotel has a lot of stairs and the facility is located on a quite steep hill. It may be a bit of a challenge for the people with restricted mobility.

The property is squeaky clean and neat. I like that it is situated at the old Tblisi because all the city attractions is just few walks away. It’s cozy and homey and Natalia was just an amazing host. She always go the extra mile for her visitors and cooks us delicious breakfast.

Natalia was an excellent host and was very helpful in looking after the needs of our whole group! She provided a selection of artisan wines for tasting on the terrace, on advanced request, but they do also have a good wine selection as standard. The rooms were great for the price point, beds were comfy and everything was very clean. The view from the terrace is perfect!

The hotel has limited facilities because it was transformed from an old mansion into a hotel.there is nothing much in terms of comfort in the room.the bathroom is very small.there is a curtain in the shower.if you want to take a shower, you have to wait a long time for the water to heat up.breakfast is sufficient but can be diversified a little more.

Since the location of the hotel was in the old city, it was within walking distance to everywhere you need to see. It is a boutique hotel with 4 rooms converted from an old mansion.the best part of the hotel is the manager.natalia was very interested in the whole booking process.the same interest continued at the hotel.she constantly gave information about Tbilisi.she suggested very nice local eating and drinking places.her conversation was also very enjoyable.

WIFI at times is weak. Bathroom needs modernization.

Owner, Natalia, took care of us at all times, like reservations for taxi or restaurants. All 100% reliable. Thank you ! Balcony and terrace on top floor with nice views over Tiblisi. Short walk to both the fortress downtown with many restaurants nearby. Good Georgian vegetarian breakfast.

Nothing,all was perfect

Very recommended place.I booked one night,ended up staying three.Its right in the centre.The view from the terrace where you can have breakfast or drink in the evening is just breahtaking.The owner Natalia is very nice ,she makes very delicious breakfast and gives you all the tips what to visit in Tbilisi.The place is spotless clean and the rooms are very comfortable.I would definitelly stay here again!

We chose the place based on two features: 1) reviews 2) views from the terrace. And the choice delivered 100 percent. Natalia is a great host, always responsive to whatever needs you have, also cooks her guests a generous and delicious breakfast. The location is super central, very easy to reach most popular sights by foot. The room was super clean (which I personally find most relevant when staying somewhere) and bed was comfortable for relaxing after long day of exploring. Cat people, pay attention - in the terrace you'll get to meet a lovely feline resident, who loves to nap next to you while you're having your breakfast or enjoying a glass of gorgeous kartvelian wine in the evening. All in all - highly recommended.

The woman who runs this hotel was born to do what she does. From the moment you arrive you are treated like an honored guest. A glass of wine is waiting for you on the terrace and you feel like you’ve entered the most charming old-world hotel. Do you need a car, or a good restaurant, or a recommendation on where to go camping or dancing or swimming? Natalia has it! The neighborhood is bustling with cafes but her little hillside nook feels secluded and cozy, even though it’s just steps from the liveliness of Tbilisi. I traveled there alone and felt safe walking home even at 2am. And don’t get me started on the fresh hearty breakfasts. A perfect spot.

Google Maps route to the hotel. Be really careful when coming from the airport, 400m from the Hotel it tells you to make a left turn where it´s actually illegal and then it takes you to the wrong end of a one-way street!!!

Betlemi Old Town Hotel is really in the middle of the old town, lots of interesting places within walking distance and for the rest a taxi is quickly arranged by the extremely helpful staff. I have rarely had so much support from a hotels staff, from advice on where to go and what to see, to getting tables in restaurants. Oh and the breakfast is really tasty. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!!!
