“This is a quirky slightly eccentric old fashioned hotel that has its own v distinctive identity - lots of focus on Russia. The room was decorated appropriately and was comfortable. Breakfast was more than sufficient in terms of choices and was all freshly prepared. The staff were cheerful and helpful. It’s not got all the mod cons and comforts of modern hotels but it’s really well located in the old town; close to Liberty Square; easy to walk around and to enjoy the food and amenities in that area.”

“The owner and manager both spoke English which made it much easier for me. A lot of places don't and it can make it difficult. They were very friendly and great to talk to, being a solo traveler they made me feel like family. The hostel was clean with good cooking facilities, value for money. I met a bunch of wonderful travelers there. The owner has another hotel in Ureki, helped with transport and the room was good, clean, big communal kitchen, close to beach at a very good rate. Had a fantastic meal with his family, introducing me to excellent Georgian cuisine. I hope they come visit Tasmania Australia so I can return the hospitality. Thank you for making my vacation to Georgia memorable.”
