Despite the description saying sound proof rooms, it was quite noisy. I should have known when I saw the ear plugs on the bed on my arrival. The rooms sound as though they are literally wedged between 2 underground lines (they maybe actually are).

What was the worst was the constantly riding the subway - every 3-4 minutes you heard sound from the subway - underground. Only at late night (after midnight) was quite but only until very soon morning. We have read on the hotel's information page state that in your rooms we can find undisturbed peace and rest from the busy streets of London, but nowhere do you state that every 3 to 4 min. will ride a subway. At the same time, it is not stated on the website, and it is not even obvious from the photos, that we have nowhere (no place for) to put our suitcase/luggage and unload personal belongings from the suitcase. This option seriously interfered with the space where we could move and at the same time maintain personal comfort and the ability to handle personal belongings. Last but not least thing was that air condition was cooling only .. when we wanted to heat, it was not possible only switch off.

Hotel clean and tidy, absolutely perfect position, personal very nice and helpful but it is all what they offer. With this price we expected more.

Whilst I understand the lack of tv, perhaps a radio/clock radio would have been nice. A rug perhaps between the bedroom and the bathroom. I expected to hear the underground and wasn't disappointed. That said, I appreciate you can't do anything about it.

I loved the location as it was easy for my commute. Bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was good. Amenities provided were good.

Only one complaint is small stains on bed sheets but otherwise everything and everywhere was clean and smelt nice.

Central location. Check in, checkout and room key all operated through an app which i found very convenient. Staff helpful and friendly. Room is great for sleep, total darkness. 2nd time staying in the property and will 100% return again.

We were aware that the rooms were underground, but I don't think any of us realised how claustrophobic it would feel, to the point where I almost booked another hotel for the night. I think the room being small is fine, but the added being underground/no windows or fresh air just made 2 of our family members feel quite uneasy. We could hear the tube which was quite loud but didn't affect our sleep. The bathroom had a sewage smell every now and then but it wasn't too overpowering and we didn't spend long enough in the room for it bother us.

We liked the decor, it was modern and a nice quality. The beds were very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. The lights were on a dimmer which worked well for us as our children don't like sleeping in the dark. The room was quite warm but the air conditioning worked well.

£15 per bag to store your bags there whilst you’re out! Compared to other hotels in London where it’s a £1. No tea/ coffee making facilities in room, you have to go to reception to make them.

Check-out was at 10:00, which is the earliest I've ever seen. I feel like a lot of people have had to pay 50 or 100 pounds extra for checking-out at 11 or 12 because those are the usual check-out times and it wasn't made very obvious in e-mails that check-out was at 10, I found out because I went to the reception and asked... And if you want to leave your luggage at the reception after checking-out, you have to pay 15 pounds.I haven't seen any other hotel do that either so that pissed me off.

The price is great given that the location is so central and the rooms look quite luxurious. My room was small and didn't have any furniture besides for the bed, but I didn't mind, I liked the minimalist look to it. Keep in mind that the hotel is underground, so there are no windows and it feels quite warm inside (there is an AC in the room though).

The room was dirty. We found hairs and a dirty cotton bud near the bed which was a bit nasty tbf. Otherwise no other concerns

I didn’t think I’d be able to hear the underground so much and other people in rooms, however it wasn’t unbearable, I just woke up a few times in the night.

It was lovely, especially for the price, very nice, simplistic rooms. The staff were all just absolutely fantastic, and I loved that they had water and coffee/tea etc.

No wardrobe, no kettle apart from in the Lounge and having to pay an extra £15 for the staff to hold your luggage for a few hours..I’ve never been charged for that before!
