This place is located in a really beautiful area, the rooms are well taken care of (clean, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated), but more importantly, Sue and Mike (and Rusty!) are absolutely amazing. It was a pleasure to meet such kind people, and we were really sad to leave. And the breakfasts were the best!

That we only stayed one night... I already want to come back and stay for longer!

Loved it from the moment we arrived. So cute and cosy, loved all the decor and little touches. There is a reading nook, kettle, little fridge, loads of books. Very comfy beds - had a great nights sleep! Incredible breakfast with so much selection, a gorgeous spaniel and Mike and Sue are super friendly and welcoming hosts who gave so much useful advice. The location is lovely, with a short walk up the hill to a beautiful lake and fantastic views. What's not to like!!

The house was really lovely and homely, Mike and Sue were exceptional hosts, so friendly and couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyable. They let me check in slightly early, and catered for my dietary requests very kindly and willingly. They even let me pet their gorgeous dog! And Mike lent me a very bright torch so that I could go for a short walk in the evening after it had gone dark just for a bit of fresh air. I felt very much at home!

Lovely hosts, truly interested and friendly. Made us feel very much at home. Great breakfast, with lots of choices. Easy to find thanks to the route sent to us beforehand. Although there are 2 rooms there are never other guests when you have one room only, which is great, you have your own small apartment there. We frequently visit B&B's, this as one of the best ever. We never return, but this one would be worth visiting again.

We loved everything ! The place near the woods. A lovely room. A very good breakfast. A house in the Middle Earth, with fairies, elves, spirits. But, above all, a very warm welcome from Sue and Mike. You definitely shall pass ! 😄

Yr Hen Farcdy is in a beautiful, tranquil location. Sue and Mike made us feel welcome and were very hospitable. They were quick to communicate. Their attention to detail was amazing in all the facilities that ensured our comfort. We were served a delicious, hearty breakfast. We would have happily stayed another day but they were fully booked.

The entrance was intially hard to find and we ended up in the camping ground. ( GPS is not always easy)

A warm and happy welcome. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, giving ideas of where to visit/eat etc. The rooms in the guest annex were very clean and welcoming, with lots of amenities such as wash things in the bathroom and lots of options of hot drinks. The bedroom was safe, comfy and cosy and we enjoyed watching TV whilst stormy wind was blowing outside that we could barely hear through the thick walls of their beautiful cottage. Gorgeous surroundings and beautiful garden. Breakfast was 10/10 delicious and there were loads of options! Homely touches were wonderful. Great situation near mountains and seaside and many of the hotspots of Snowdonia.
