The location is good. The house is lovely, clean, warm- it had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing - we used it also when it was raining.

just home after a fantastic week in Scotland, the accommodation Thistle Haugh was pure luxury.The hosts made us feel so welcome and comfortable.

The central heating was a little noisy but I believe that this will be looked at soon. But really, there isn't anything not to like!

I liked everything about the house! It was well equipped, and had what we needed There was lots of storage space. The furniture and decoration were all carefully and thoughtfully chosen. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was clean and hot. It was helpful to have some basic condiments and a pint of milk in the fridge. The front garden was a delight with wonderful troughs of pansies and attractive shrubs. We enjoyed watching the birds on the bird feeders. It was peaceful and quiet.

They forgot to put the travel cot for the baby, but luckily she came quickly so it wasn’t a big problem.

It is very nice and modern. Spacious and nicely decorated. Clean. Would recommend if you need a place in the area.

EVERYTHING!!!! The house is immaculate, cosey and so homely. It has everything you need. Beautiful gardens and as for the hot tub.......AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Everything! The whole place was spotless and beautiful while still being comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful, even in December. We had a great time and will certainly be back.

There was nothing we didn't like. A location with panoramic or loch views would have made it a truly amazing place to stay but you can't have everything!

Thistle Haugh is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. The owner was also very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful property, clearly very well looked after. Hot tub was excellent. Incredibly clean. Host was also brilliant. Couldnt have asked for a better place/host. Will be back in the future!

The cottage is sparkling clean, has loads of storage space and comfortable beds. The location is perfect for finding beautiful walks, and easy driving distance to Oban or Glencoe.

Blinds not dark enough when the sun comes up but we had eye masks so all was OK.

Extremely clean and comfortable. This property is extremely well looked after. Its also very tranquil so great for relaxing. Lots to do within an hour or so drive and some great restaurants and very nice hosts.

What an absolutly beautiful house. Exceeding every expectation that we had, it was simply perfect. From the decoration to the little finishing touches, everything was beautiful. Very well maintained & looked after, it was spotless. We loved the authentic Scottish feel in the property & we felt very much at home. The hosts were wonderful, very helpful & welcoming. The attention to detail in every single room really stood out & made it an even more special stay. Would highly recommend & we will definitely be back soon.

We stayed at Thistle Haugh for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The house was perfect - very well equipped. Big kitchen and comfy sitting room. Lots of storage in the bedrooms and two excellent showers and a lovely bath! We were extremely lucky with the weather so got a lot of use out of the sunny garden which got the sun all day long - great for bbqs too. The hot tub is at the back of the property so it is more private and very relaxing! Highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay to explore Oban and the surrounding area - we really enjoyed being a bit further away from the hustle and bustle.

Quiet location. Cottage set in a lovely tidy garden with a hot tub. Very comfortable cottage which was well equipped and had everything you could need for a self-catering stay. Nice touches of interior design. Good showers with plenty of hot water.

The kitchen area is beautiful but would have benefited from a dishwasher instead of having to wash dishes whilst on holiday. It had everything else but would have been a great additional extra.

The surroundings are gorgeous from the front garden to the rear area with hot tub backing on to a forest from where the red squirrels visited. Beds were very comfortable and the whole house is finished to very high standards.
