Parking could be a challenge especially if youre leaving early. Good thing we parked at the outermost spot when we went back very late the night before

I like that it is cozy. It met our needs at the time so very happy.

The price was a bit high for a tent experience, even though it was a lovely tent with comfy bedding.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and the tent exceeded expectations

Nothing really - although the shower rooms were quite small.

A beautiful location - very peaceful with lovely views. The building is architecturally very attractive. The staff are lovely. The vegetarian breakfast was cooked to perfection. There was a secure locked bike shed next to the hostel. The kitchen looked well equipped and the shared lounge was comfortable.

The cooked breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Continental breakfast was also available, along with kitchen facilities to cook you own if you wanted to. The bedding was very clean. We had secure storage for our bicycles. Limited alcoholic drinks were available for purchase at a simple bar in the reception area. Takeaways could be ordered and delivered from Seaton.

Parking situation a joke. I had the room by the main door which banged a lot; soft closure would make a huge difference

Poor pressure in showers. The whole building is a bit scruffy and tired. But for £46 per night,(you could have slept 6 in bunks in my private room, £8 per person per night!).

Nice old building in quiet location, only 15minutes walk into Beer. Very quiet at night, only owls. Didn’t try the breakfast. Plenty of space outside to relax at tables and chairs.

Expensive for 1 night in a tent, couldn't check in on arrival had to wait a few hours. I.D is required or you can't stay....it would be useful to know that before you arrive as uk residents don't always carry their passport. Wanted breakfast but was told we couldn't as we hadn't booked it the night previous.

Our room was a little dark with only one small window, but we only slept in there. Showers could be better.

Beautiful building jn a very quiet and tranquil spot, a short walk into Beer. Spotlessly clean, with a good self catering kitchen to cook your own food.

The showers are very small but they did the job, it is a hostel so we weren’t expecting en suite’s with our room.

Having a private room was amazing for the price, we didn’t feel rushed around and everyone was very friendly that we met. The noise curfew of the guests was a huge bonus while travelling with my family as my children are very young and needed the quiet to sleep.

Toilet and showers are quite small and tucked away withing the hostel building. Absolutely fine for hostel living and extremely clean. Need to block other cars in the car park to fit everyone in. Great system for being able to find others to move their car for you and staff were always on hand to assist. No WiFi provided but my phone had a strong signal (Smarty) and I had plenty of data so wasn't a problem.

Beautiful location and building. True canopy of stars at night. Very quiet. Extremely clean. Staff so kind and friendly. Strong phone signal for Smarty. Delicious cooked breakfast. Fully equipped self catering kitchen to access. We were in one of the provided Bell Tents - it was so lovely. Pretty bunting, log burner with fuel provided, very comfy beds.

Our main issue was sleeping in a very warm and virtually airless room. Outside conditions were still, and with only one window to open the room was stuffy. We are none of us afraid of fresh air and on a warm summer night sleeping was difficult. Its been that kind of summer, but being able to better facilitate a change of air helps. I realise there re also security and protection issues too - its not an easy fix.

The location is excellent. We were also able to walk into Beer and enjoy the firework display. Beds were comfortable and breakfast set us up for a day at the Beautiful Days music festival, Escott Park, Honiton.

the car park was very small & we had to move our car a few times as you have to block each other in. not a criticism just an observation. The shower curtains could do with replacing as some were mouldy.

It’ was nice place but it was too cold and there wasn’t any heating or fire. Unfortunately have to sleep in freezing cold. Not good if you are coming with family.
