Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had such a happy visit. Jackie and Phil were so kind and nothing was too much trouble, breakfasts tailor-made for maximum enjoyment. The view from our bedroom was lovely and we are looking forward to going back as soon as life allows! Thank you both for helping us have such a relaxing and happy holiday.

Woodpeckers was absolutely lovely, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable with an amazing view as well. Jacky was the perfect hostess and her breakfasts were out of this world. Such a perfect experience staying there. We were in Pett for 3 nights for a friends wedding.

The breakfast was excellent as was the company and conversation however we would have been just as happy with the option of a smaller breakfast, perhaps poached eggs on toast or even just a continental option without a full English.

Lovely location with beautiful views from our room. The room was spotless with a lovely spacious bathroom. Added bonus, a really nice pub just across the road which served good food. The hosts, Jackie and Phil, were really welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Mentioned we liked oat milk and Jackie got some in for our stay. We would come back again and would definitely recommend staying here!

United KingdomI am a single traveller, nearly 74 years old. I travel frequently and need my comforts. The property is in a beautiful, quiet area, with easy traveling distance to many places of interest. Really nice room with exceptionally comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom, all exceeded my expectation. The breakfast and and other facilities are very, very good. The hosts are delightful, very helpful, went over and above what was expected of them. Overall, I had a fabulous stay and I would recommend this place to any traveller for a short or long stay. Parking at the property's front drive and Pub across the road are a real bonus.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The room had a great view, comfortable bed and the bathroom was very spacious. Loved the peaceful location in short driving distance to Hastings and there was a nice pub across the road, what more to want!
