Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumThe size of the room and of the bed which were misleading on the room description at the time of booking. The size said 23m2 but this room is tiny basically hardly any place around a tiny queen sized bed, not sure it’s even 12m2. Same for the bathroom. We were two friends and clearly we wouldn’t have booked if this was made clear in the description.
Location was great, nicely renovated property, well set up system. The terrace would have been great if the weather would have allowed it. Also communication with the owner was very good when we needed to leave our luggage there in our last day.

Short walk from Windermere station. Only 1 minute away from Sainsbury’s/COOP and a bunch of restaurants. The room is really clean and spacious considering the price. Will definitely stay again.

Saudi Arabiasince it’s most likely wooden house, there’s no soundproof between rooms, I could hear footsteps from the room above but it wasn’t much noise in general
Very good location, around 8 minutes walking from train station 20 min walking to the lake , surrounds by many restaurants and groceries they have good costumer service, we had a problem with the door handle and they had fixed quickly there’s a coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator with welcoming water, portable AC and heating system the space is acceptable
