The property had no windows, which meant that due to the very hot weather during the day - we would be returning to a sauna by the time we would return in the evening!

The property was beautiful and comfortably hosted the 6 of us.

the bed mattress was a bit lumpy in areas. bedding was lovely and clean but mattress not great quality. it’s great as a base to lay your head.

really smooth process to get access code and key. Large apartment, nice and clean. lovely shower. considering it was full of groups of younger adults it was very clean and well maintained inside and on the stairs etc.

Being surrounded by bars it's a noisy neighbourhood. We made use of our earplugs when we wanted to sleep. But we were there to enjoy the party atmosphere around us too, so it didn't dampen our enjoyment of the flat.

The flat's open-plan living space was huge with a giant telly! It looked fresh and stylish and the bedrooms were big. Our first impression was "Wow". We were there for a Eurovision semi-final show, so we wanted something central and we couldn't have been more in the thick of the action. We also liked being right on the top floor. We met the Happy Days team to pay the deposit and they were super-helpful too with local tips. A really positive experience all-round.

The noise. I couldn't sleep in 3 days because of the bars. If you go for party this is perfect place but if you have to go to work find another one.

Right in the middle of the nightlife area so I didn't get a good nights sleep due to the noise from bars until 4am! Couldn't close the Velux roof window in the bedroom which may have helped.

Few stairs to get to apartment so might be an issue with someone who has difficulty in walking

Location was spot on . We travelled down to watch Celtic play in a charity match and was ideal for what we wanted as a group . Bars and nightclubs on the doorstep.

Due to the location there is music playing outside until 3am. This gives an interesting vibe. I quite liked seeing the twinkle of the lights outside and music but some might find it too loud to sleep.

There were limited items in the apartment, eg only one water glass, no teatowel, paper towels, cutting knives, bread board. When I asked they said they would deliver but I wasn't there at the time so never got them. Lots of wine glassses. Little cutlery. Needed a stocktake and replacement.

Location was very central and close to centre of town. Parking was nearby, expensive. Washing machine and dryer was great.

there were a few crumbs on the table and around a chair. looked like someone had eaten a sandwich and not cleared the crumbs away. couple of dirty mugs in the cupboard. looked like they had not been washed and just put back in the cupboard.

Window blinds let in light, could do with black out curtains due to nightclub opposite very bright.

Getting into the office was difficult. There is a sign outside but no sign as to which doorbell to press. When I rang the number on the sign no one answered. We had to stand on the street waving our arms until someone saw us. Actually we needn’t have bothered going to the office and if that was made clear I wouldn’t have bothered. By paying the security deposit over the phone, entry instructions to the apartment would have been given over the phone so a wasted journey to the office. You live and learn. We had 3 nights at the apartment and the location was superb until the 3rd night when the adjacent club was open and we heard pounding music till early in the morning. Great if you want to visit the club but not so great when you have to go to the airport at 4am. By the way, there’s a taxi rank at the bottom of the road so very easy journey to the airport.

The location of the apartment was close to the city centre. Furnishings are great and the massive tv is excellent.

Paid parking half a mile away Although the double glazing helped you could still here the street noise until 4am as there is a bier haus right outside your door. Wasn't overwhelming but enough to disturb light sleepers

Wanted an apartment with a separate bedroom plus sofa bed for privacy, ended up with a studio with 3 double bed all in one room. The listing was very unclear that this was a possibility. I could have paid half the price to share a hotel room instead. The apartment is in the very heart of the pub / club area, and was REALLY loud until 2 - 3 am. That's ok if you're staying there for a party weekend, not great if you want to sleep before 3 in the morning. Obviously that's not the fault of Happy Days, but be aware if noise bothers you.
