Second time here, staff are very friendly and they work so hard getting very think spot on for you. Nothing is ever too much for them. Absolutely beautiful place to relax and unwind, The bedroom was amazing from the spa bath to the sauna was amazing touch. Thank you 😊

OK this is the bit we don't like to remark on but think it's really important when choosing one of the rooms. Although I booked in October 2023 such is the demand we only had the choice of the love snug for our April dates 2024.all the info is there but some things are not mentioned which we felt are really important. The small narrow stairs that lead you up to the love snug suite ( in the attic/eve space) are dreadful.a couple of the bottom stairs are really narrow as they twist round.carrying a full suitcase is near impossible & dangerous in my view.this could be because of my age (66).really struggled with the stairs on a daily basis especially my wife who has arthritis & cervical spondylitis. Once in the room from the top of the stairs first impressions are great.again given our age there are too many levels in the flooring & you have to watch out for all the hazards going across the landing into the bathroom especially the angle of the entry into the bathroom where we both banged our heads for the first couple of days.you also have to watch out for the shape of the eves on the otherside as you exit the bathroom.they could benefit from having clear "please watch your head signs" My wife really struggled getting in & out of the spa bath but the shower was located within (above) inside the spa bath.we thought at time of booking it would have been a walk in shower. Again I have to stress in all fairness for younger couples these things might not be as physically demanding. WOULD DEFINETELY STAY AGAIN BUT NOT IN THE LOVE SNUG, Please note we have put a no to the " did the property meet your expectations" but this is for THE LOVE SNUG.Z

Loved the location.staff friendly,special shoutout to Lucas who went above & beyond.easy walks in both directions to bowness (a hive of beautiful independent shops cafe & restaurants,and windermere.buses both ways are frequent . The bedroom is very large with a tv & comfortable bed,places to sit etc,it's a shame there wasn't a large mirror over the vanity unit in bedroom as my wife struggled to put any make up on using the beautiful ornate small mirror that was on the unit itself. All the rooms were kept at a really warm temperature really nice.again a special shout out to the staff who cleaned the suite to an extremely high standard. Breakfast was beautiful a real treat.

It’s not soundproof as stated , we had a neighbour blasting music 10.30pm and in there hot tub we could hear everything 🙈
